Top 100 WR Nick Marsh Decommits from MSU
You hate to see it. Hopefully Harbaugh can land this guy.

We’ve got in-roads with three good WRs. How interested would we be in this guy?
At a .9607 local kid and a Top 100 recruit. We should be very interested.
We would rather get a kid ranked 454 from St Paul Missouri.
Sorry unfamiliar with this Missouri WR you speak of.
Look up St Paul Missouri WR
I humored you and googled “St. Paul Missouri WR.” All it comes up with is Luther Burden, a former 5* that plays for the Missouri Tigers.
Luther Burden was an East St Louis kid. He was one of 15 D1 athletes my alma mater played in the state title game one year...
Luther "Ticky" Burden played for Knicks and ABA Squires in mid-1970s.
I know who he is, he’s just also the only thing that pops up on google when you look up what we were told to look up.
Or you could be helpful and link a recruiting profile instead of being a tough guy.
The truth hurts
Truth is unbearable.
It would have been less typing just to give us his name.
The point was there was no name to mention. I didn't think that you guys would literally look up a St Paul Missouri Wr who is ranked #454. The whole point was they would rather go out and get a diamond in the ruff than recruit their state talent.
Well, that certainly is some false narrative you’ve decided to peddle.
If that’s who he’s referring to, he’s not even in the same recruiting class so that’s completely irrelevant
The coaches are 100% interested in this guy because he was offered as a freshman. Local instate guy from River Rouge that would fit in tremendously at Michigan. I expect Harbaugh and Bellamy to go after him hard.
247 shows all schools as "cool", but if you look through the list of schools and see which others have recruiters listed next to them:
Kentucky - Steve Clinkscale
Michigan - Bellamy, Moore
That's the whole list... I like our chances.
Not an insider but have heard the Clink hasn't been recruiting as well for Kentucky since about May 12, 2021.
Love locking down the best local talent. We've lost a lot of local guys to the competition. His top offers on 247 is a bit lacking but I assume that is because of the early MSU commitment.
Personally im sick of PSU landing one stud per year from our state.
“In-roads” shouldn’t prevent the staff from pursuing a local kid ranked in the top 100. Go after all four. Odds are you’re not getting all 4 anyway, so take the 2-3 that commit first.
Agreed. Also, how many times are we in seemingly a good position to land someone months out and we don't.
I believe the past 2 cycles now we have picked up a good WR commit literally on signing day. Wouldn't it be great if we could have the WR position locked down way before signing day comes? We should be taking 3 WR each class anyways, and if we get 4 this time I think that's a positive. 2019 had CJ, Giles and Kent. Only 1 has turned out. 2020 had Henning and Wilson. Henning does returns great, and Wilson is great, but it would have been nice to have more depth behind CJ right now. 2021 we had Dixon and Anthony. AA gone and I don't even know if Dixon plays.
There are more misses than hits when it comes to our WR recruits, so I am perfectly fine with them taking 3 or 4 each class if that means we get 1 or 2 hits out of it.
Poor Tuck.
Are you referring to MeLLLLLLL?
7 L Mel
This is great....it roLLLLLLLs right off the tongue.
$95 MeLLLLLLLion.
Tuck comin'...unglued.
Tuck needs a photo shoot surrounded by models on a yacht in the Caribbean to pick things back up.
And pitbulls, don’t forget the pitbulls.
/choppin’
Would.
I declare MSU football the POOP capital of the world.
Sorry, pal. They sell far more coolers in Columbus.
And play in a toilet.
Now due to our colors and their lack of originally, they (MSU) would have probably responded saying, "well, you're the pee capital."
But in truth, if we are pee (not true, that would be Iowa), and OSU is poop...MSU is rightfully...the diarrhea capital of the world.
PSU is a fart.
#3 in the state and #72 overall.
6’3” 190lb WR.
I don’t recall any interest between him and Michigan but he did commit early it seemed.
We were definitely recruiting him and he’s visited at least once. At one point in time we were pitching him on teaming up with CJ Carr. Oh fun times!
Im curious why he committed to them so early in the first place over us. And why now to decommit?
Crootin'
Wishing Nick well as he reaches his decision. And, since he’s not too far away from A2, perhaps he’d consider stopping by for an informal visit to check out the campus, staff, and facilities.
Go Blue!
Maybe he and Harbaugh can go out for burgers.
