Well. I mean he did lose the game. Maybe he knew it was going to be a long night beforehand. #Dickhead

Dude needs to take a chill pill.........wait, no, poor choice of words....he needs to meditate to relieve stress.

Guy is such a garbage coach, born with some kind of silver spoon. Nothing but mediocrity in his career, yet he's landed 3 huge gigs. Got the USC job with a flop of 34-29 at Washington. Went 12-6 at USC and embarrassed himself. LOL that the richest blue blood in CFB would hire him for a 3rd try. That AD needs to be fired with him.
Nine years as a HC, best record 9-4, which he's only done once. Wins 56% of his games. He's essentially an 7-5 lifetime coach and has coached 3 traditional powerhouses.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:20 PM ^
It's unbelievable that anyone, let alone this goof could have gotten the mileage he has out of a few years as the QB coach at Pete Carroll's SC machine over 15 years ago, yet here we are.
Edit: Even more so since most of SC's offensive wizardry was due to the work of then OC Norm Chow.
What a time to be alive.

Some schools and people have great runs of hype and PR. Remember hearing about Lane Kiffin around that time?
Kansas basketball is another good example. I think it started with the ace self-promoter Larry Brown. I realize they've actually won championships, but you'd think they were the best team every season.
December 30th, 2022 at 7:35 PM ^
As much of an asshole that Kiffen was in his younger days, he's grown up quite well and runs a pretty good program. I'd take Kiffen in a fucking heartbeat over Sarkisian.
December 30th, 2022 at 10:52 PM ^
I don't know about the "grown up" comment - he's still super petty - but he did turn out to be a pretty good coach after some seasoning.
December 31st, 2022 at 12:02 AM ^
I really enjoyed Kiffin calling out and embarrassing Pete Finebaum in an interview on live TV. Kiffin is OK in my eyes.

This thread should be titled “another day Sark is a shit and an idiot”.
He reminds me of a guy I once knew who had a reputation as a “great” sales guy. Except the only great sales he ever made were convincing companies and CEOs to hire him and pay him a lot of stock and cash without performing.
I don’t get why ADs and especially the media are so easily taken by his BS despite the lack of performance. Seems like an obvious fail to most of us.
December 30th, 2022 at 8:35 PM ^
Right? This guy exists in almost every business. There was a guy like that hired in my group way back when, and the rumor was he was making $100,000 (back in 1995, that was a lot of dough for a mere copywriter in advertising). He had one great commercial on his reel but then never produced a thing. He was forever known as "hundred thousand dollar guy." I wonder whatever happened to him. He only stayed about a year.
December 30th, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
Right? That story reminds me of this guy who was standing on third base, but thought he didn't have a soft football team with a pouty puppy QB that backed into the 2022 CFP because the dance card required four participants for the tournament.
December 30th, 2022 at 7:38 PM ^
Arch Manning made a poor choice.
December 30th, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
Lucky for him he can check it out and if it’s not going well he can transfer and play somewhere else the next season.

Plus the UT basketball coach suspended for domestic violence
December 30th, 2022 at 6:05 PM ^
Setting the standard for Texas football… what an example.
And, I’m thinking of Corum handing out turkey dinners and school supplies.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:14 PM ^
More like Gary Moeller fighting the cops. The head man blowing his stack is a bad look..
December 30th, 2022 at 6:17 PM ^
It really is. Thank God that doesn't happen at Michigan..............
December 30th, 2022 at 7:06 PM ^
Yeah, Sark looks like he pre-gamed at the Excalibur last night.
December 30th, 2022 at 7:38 PM ^
Cheap shot. Moeller had a bad night as his marriage was falling apart. Sarkisian is a life-long drunk, asshole, and general all-around jackass. There is no comparison whatsoever between the two.
December 30th, 2022 at 8:33 PM ^
Eh, I'm not going to associate his alcoholism with being a jackass and asshole, which seem to have been present both before and after he addressed his addiction.
December 30th, 2022 at 9:01 PM ^
Definitely a cheap shot. I recall all it was was a DUI right after Moeller found out his wife was cheating on him with his coach Les Miles? And it happened once in his life (the DUI. Miles was rumored to have slept with other wives)
And Bushwood above, wants to compare this to Sark who has a history of issues and who yells and berates a staffer responsible for holding him and his team back before they run on the field. Coaches, players, staffers, and refs have to put hands on chests all the time in football games.
Any guy who aggressively attacks someone in this kind of situation has issues.
December 30th, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
I wasn’t taking a shot at Moeller. I loved the Moeller era. I was just saying that stuff happening with the head coach is more serious than when a player misbehaves.
December 31st, 2022 at 3:42 AM ^
Thanks for the clarification. +1 Your other post seemed otherwise. Moeller gave us The Catch vs ND. Always thankful for that. I get that you may have been in school before the Moeller era?
December 30th, 2022 at 9:05 PM ^
bushwood-- i am sure you never mouthed off to someone when you were drunk coming out of a bar...let alone peed outside.. as opposed to being stone sober before a game yelling at a guy doing his job....
December 30th, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
You completely misunderstand my point which was in no way a shot at Moeller. I was really bummed at Moeller’s fate.
December 31st, 2022 at 3:29 AM ^
"which was in no way a shot at Moeller."
You couldn't have posted a worse comment if that's truly the case.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:08 PM ^
Okay cool, hook 'em 🤘
December 30th, 2022 at 6:21 PM ^
What a nut job
December 30th, 2022 at 6:23 PM ^
This is the same energy as the tailgaters that try to ram you off the road because it is going to take you a few seconds to get to a safe opening to merge right to let them pass by.
December 30th, 2022 at 7:33 PM ^
People who drive slow in the left should get some grief, the guy in the video literally does nothing wrong
December 30th, 2022 at 10:39 PM ^
Is driving the speed limit driving slow? Slow is a matter of opinion.
December 31st, 2022 at 12:38 AM ^
Considering the law doesn't consider speed a factor when tying up the left hand lane, then yes... driving slow in the left hand lane is indefensible.
December 31st, 2022 at 12:46 AM ^
no it isn’t
if you’re only going 5 over in the left lane, stop doing that and get the fuck out of the way. if someone is on your ass, get out of the way. don’t take 13 minutes to very slowly pass 8 cars and 3 semi trucks. move the fuck over for just a sec and let other people through. then go about your day. holding up 9 people who want to go 12 mph over the limit is a dick move and shows either ignorance or control issues
I’ll never get why people want to be the police and try to regulate everyone else’s driving speed.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:26 PM ^
This guy is the Jeff Fisher of college football
December 30th, 2022 at 6:27 PM ^
I imagine his adrenaline is firing at that moment.
I'm no fan of Sark but this is a nothingburger
December 30th, 2022 at 10:41 PM ^
It’s gross behavior by a man who’s supposed to lead young men. Adrenaline or not a leader needs self control and needs to treat people with respect.
December 30th, 2022 at 11:35 PM ^
Adrenaline or no, this is the type of situation that brings out your true character...
Yeah, he's a prick.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:40 PM ^
He was off the rails at the University of Washington, then at USC, now there. Letting humans like this 'lead' young adults only creates more malformed humans. He should have been fired by UW and left to work the Taco Bell drive-through for the rest of his career.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:41 PM ^
Well, he shouldn’t have touched him
December 30th, 2022 at 7:46 PM ^
You act like the guy shoved him and forcefully pushed him back. It was nothing more than a 'hey, wait for a minute' - something every person anywhere has done to control pedestrian traffic. Reacting like he did was asinine. Justifying asinine behavior because some guy softly held up a hand to say 'hold on' is complete bullshit.
December 30th, 2022 at 9:00 PM ^
He clearly overreacted (bad look). But the other guy was being needlessly handsy, have to say.
December 31st, 2022 at 2:00 PM ^
Judging by your negs, people here like handsy.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:49 PM ^
Guy is under a lot of pressure. Sure, optics are bad but I can't imagine how mentally stressful it has got to be to be a HC at a blue blood program.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:53 PM ^
Sure, but no one is forcing him to be the head coach at a traditional power.
December 30th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
What other coach in the history of pressure-packed blueblood programs have you seen react like that to a staffer holding the team before running onto the field?
Stop justifying asshole behavior.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:50 PM ^
Not acceptable behavior, but I would like to see the whole sequence. I'm sure that at the start of a game you're tense AF. Not clear just how patronizing that guy is being, but I don't generally like people touching my chest. I'd hope that I could quietly tell the guy to stop touching me, NOW, but i could see feeling a little claustrophobic.
December 31st, 2022 at 5:05 AM ^
The lynch mob was out in force tonight, I see. :)
