IBD PARTY!
December 8th, 2022 at 7:35 PM ^
Seth would never delete, and Brian doesn’t read the message board.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:05 PM ^
This will end well
December 8th, 2022 at 6:19 PM ^
It certainly didn’t start well

December 8th, 2022 at 3:05 PM ^
Legend has it, Seth still doesnt care about Erick All and Cade McNamara leaving.
December 8th, 2022 at 6:11 PM ^
I don't either. Good luck
December 8th, 2022 at 3:05 PM ^
You know how to change the station on your radio?
December 8th, 2022 at 3:41 PM ^
Time for another instruction post?
December 8th, 2022 at 4:47 PM ^
Thanks for the literal LOL. I love that scene. And I also really love the Chitty Bang-Bang scene from Ace Ventura.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:05 PM ^
This is going to end well for you.
Grabbing my popcorn.

Brian should keep his voice up and speak into the mike. I usually listen in the car and can’t hear half of what he says because his voice trails off.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:08 PM ^
I think it is funny when one of the guys on the podcast has a real strong hot take and Brian just casually disregards it as unimportant and casually moves on.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:22 PM ^
We need more of that in everyday life.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:38 PM ^
seriously. this is the proper way to deal with 90% of the shit going on around you on a daily basis
December 8th, 2022 at 3:22 PM ^
Whenever Seth starts talking I know Brian is going to be like 'meh I don't know'
Haven't listened much lately in part because I got tired of it. I like Seth's stuff and got a little tired of him always contradicted. Brian can always add insights but doesn't need to frame it as a diss
December 8th, 2022 at 3:27 PM ^
On the most recent one, I think it was Seth who went ALL OUT in his analysis that Mullings needs to add 15-20 pounds and go full Jerome Bettis. It was like a five minute take and Brian was just like "no, he's fine" and then on to the next topic.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:46 PM ^
I'm old enough to remember when "Hot Takes" were something that the bloggists made fun of the traditional talking heads for and instead did levelheaded analysis of the team. Seth seems to just spout out 2-3 new ones every week during the season. It was pretty clear during the game that Mullings was a much more natural fit at RB than LB but the Jerome Bettis stuff was just silly - 230 lbs is plenty of 'thunder'.
The hot takes segment of the pod is great since it's a joke.
December 8th, 2022 at 6:43 PM ^
To be fair I think they intentionally go more “Hawt Takes” for the Roundtable since it is literally AM sports radio. That’s kind of the point. (My favorite part is always the commercial break where they usually say “okay this is way to complicated for radio but I saw…)
December 8th, 2022 at 3:32 PM ^
100% this is how I feel listening to the podcasts. Does he have to disagree with *everything* Seth says?
December 8th, 2022 at 5:44 PM ^
I just listened to today's podcast and was literally asking myself if Brian was pissed at Seth for some reason. They have their disagreements, but today Brian seemed over the top dismissive of everything Seth said.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:10 PM ^
They are both frequently incorrect but never in doubt.
December 9th, 2022 at 5:14 AM ^
Anyone who spends a large amount of time discussing sports is wrong…a lot really. If receipts were kept and returned it would be spectacular. Especially sports talk radio guys.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:13 PM ^
I, for one, like the fact that it is casual and everyone talks as they wish. I have enough of the formal thing at work always watching what I say and how others "feel" about it. Brian, Seth And Craig are refreshing.
December 8th, 2022 at 6:29 PM ^
Seth is a cringey homer, he is also wrong most of the time. Brian is also wrong a lot, but his takes are usually reasonable and more in line with people who actually know football then Seth is.
The thing that bothers me most about Seth is he is so confident and aggressive with his takes even though it is obvious the guy does not really know anything.
I honestly find it embarrassing to the UM fanbase to have Seth with a podcast.
December 8th, 2022 at 7:10 PM ^
Feel free to do something you think is better.
December 8th, 2022 at 7:26 PM ^
This is kind of over the top. The podcasts are really enjoyable to me. It is clear they all know each other well and have a short hand with each that allows for banter. And as for their knowledge, they openly mock themselves with “A Very Professional Podcast.” They are what they are. They aren’t experts. They are football dorks and they play that role well.
December 8th, 2022 at 7:46 PM ^
Stop sugar coating and tell us how you REALLY feel!
December 8th, 2022 at 3:43 PM ^
Doesn't everyone forward through the hot takes, or is that just me? I have an hour commute to work so I have to get it all in on one drive.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:51 PM ^
It depends on how long of a take it is going to be. If I can tell it is a 5-7 minute take that I don't care about yeah I FF through it.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:52 PM ^
Yes. The hot takes--and especially the voices--are THE WORST.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:06 PM ^
Disagree, the Sklar Brothers and the hot takes segment is one of my favorite parts of the MGoPodcast. The last one from this week was especially hilarious in my book
December 8th, 2022 at 4:14 PM ^
Yeah huge fan of the hot takes and the voice is hilarious as it’s making fun of we dumb fuck forum posters for our weekly trash hot takes
December 8th, 2022 at 4:17 PM ^
I agree. The Sklars are funny and actually have some pretty interesting insights.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:54 PM ^
The Q-Crew!
December 8th, 2022 at 5:22 PM ^
The MGB podcast might not be for you.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:14 PM ^
I listen to the whole thing. There are some gems in hot takes.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:46 PM ^
I celebrate his entire catalogue, I really do.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:39 PM ^
I forward through the intro voice because I hate the yelling, but listen to the hot takes themselves.
Also, try working up to 2x speed to fit more podcast into your commute.
December 8th, 2022 at 4:51 PM ^
I like the hot takes. They tend to be hit or miss. The bad ones are really bad. But the good ones usually give me a good laugh.
December 8th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
It used to be better, it’s gotten a little stale. The Sklars still tend to be the best since, which makes sense because it’s a joke segment and they are actual comedians.
December 8th, 2022 at 5:13 PM ^
Seth: My ice-cream melted. It was sitting in the sun for 2 hours..
Brian: It's not THAT melted. There are still remnants of ice crystals in that one corner of the cup. You can't just say that it is melted.
December 8th, 2022 at 5:17 PM ^
Close listeners will note how often Brian dismissively rejects Seth's opinions, while usually praising Alex's.
December 8th, 2022 at 3:06 PM ^
I love Seth on the various mgo pods and his pieces on here because I’m also a huge football nerd and a Michigan football history nerd and I see a lot of myself in him. I learn a lot from Seth. Thanks for all you do Seth!
