Army's defense is legitimately good.
September 14th, 2019 at 5:29 PM ^
They are up by 3 against a team that lost by 49 to Baylor.
It’s beginning to look VERY scary for this Michigan team. All signs pointing to this being an awful season.
September 14th, 2019 at 6:26 PM ^
You know this by observing them against the juggernaut that is the University of Texas at San Antonio?
September 14th, 2019 at 3:52 PM ^
¡El Assico!
September 14th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
There’s too many crap games on today.
September 14th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
Wow, Pitt really squandered that game. Golden opportunity after golden opportunity left on the field.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
Frames Janklin vs. Nat Parduzzi was a gem of a coaching clinic.
September 14th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
I bet the Terps wish Josh was calling plays for them..... Lmao
September 14th, 2019 at 3:59 PM ^
Maryland's offense struggled once it ran into some decent competition...and by decent competition I mean Temple.
Illinois lost to EMU.
Penn State won 17-10 over Pitt in a game that featured mind boggling bad coaching decisions in the last 5-6 minutes.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:42 PM ^
EMU for Rutger in the B10 would save travel $..............
September 14th, 2019 at 6:35 PM ^
Not to mention increase the strength of schedule for conference teams.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:01 PM ^
Brandon Peters with a casual 9-2 td to int ratio so far this year. Shit like this has me thinking...
September 14th, 2019 at 4:04 PM ^
They just lost to eastern michigan...
September 14th, 2019 at 4:04 PM ^
And he lost to fucking Eastern.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
Lmao dude no shit it’s Illinois. When’s the last time we’ve had a qb with 9 tds in three games?
September 14th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
Against UConn and EMU. I guess they should just hand him the Heisman now...
September 14th, 2019 at 4:06 PM ^
Eh, I wish him success, but the dude seems to frequently airmail his wide open receivers. Peters is definitely not a better fit at QB than Shea. If he was, he would be our starter, and not at Illinois.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
Yeah, he was 22-37 with 2 td's an int and a L against EMU...what exactly are you thinking here? That the backup is no longer the favorite player for fans, it's the transfer?
September 14th, 2019 at 4:21 PM ^
He also fumbled a couple of times.
September 14th, 2019 at 7:31 PM ^
Shea, or Brandon?
September 14th, 2019 at 4:14 PM ^
What are you thinking?
September 14th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
Peters was all over the place today. Good throw followed by awful one. And that was against Eastern (which beat them!).
September 14th, 2019 at 4:23 PM ^
I love how this gets negged. Seriously it’s just an opinion on a blog site and so many people get their panties in a bunch anytime someone suggests peters might be better than the fan base thought he was. It’s embarassing. This is turning into a subreddit where every opinion that doesn’t follow the status quo is negged to oblivion
September 14th, 2019 at 4:24 PM ^
You're the guy that kept trying to start "Brandon Peters Appreciation Threads" last season and the mods kept deleting them, aren't you? Sorry, but those were just weird.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
I started one before last season. Does it matter? This dude just has an opinion. It’s a blog site for opinions. Every time I bring up peters or someone else and suggests he wasn’t as bad as the fan base or coaching staff thought he was, they get negged by the mob. It’s just embarrassing and cultish.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:35 PM ^
No...you’re the kind of fan who thinks he was pushed out or not given a fair chance by the coaches, sorry if fans like me don’t like your opinion...that’s my opinion
September 14th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
Is that what this guy was saying though? He said it makes you think and he got negged for it. Is that neg worthy?
September 14th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
He's getting downvotes because people suspect he's insinuating that Peters was mistreated by the coaching staff and/or claiming that Peters is better than Patterson. Also: presenting those stats out of context (namely, that they just lost to EMU).
September 14th, 2019 at 5:21 PM ^
Nope I’m just pointing out that he’s outperforming our qbs by a wide margin. For some reason qb’s do not flourish in our program and hasn’t for a while. If peters was starting for Michigan this year he wouldn’t have 9 td’s and if Shea was starting for Illinois he’d probably have 10+. I think there is seriously something wrong here
September 14th, 2019 at 5:29 PM ^
Did you actually watch him play today, against EMU?
September 14th, 2019 at 5:36 PM ^
I’ve actually saw all 3 games, and yes they are getting better QB play than we are. Which blows my mind because Shea is light years better than Peters
September 14th, 2019 at 5:31 PM ^
Double-post
September 14th, 2019 at 5:31 PM ^
And the triple-post. Ah, this wonderful software.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
I definitely remember you starting a few of them. The mods kept deleting them and you kept coming back for more.
Root for the team dude. Don't play favorites.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:39 PM ^
Why are you making stuff up? I literally started one. It was “Brandon Peters Posbang”. That was literally it. Why are you lying? Lmfao this is sad
The ONLY thread I started is still up if you wanna check. That was my only one. You can stop acting like a clown and making stuff up
September 14th, 2019 at 4:55 PM ^
There definitely were several of those threads. Whether they were by you, a sockpuppet account, or someone else, I don't know, but it was weird as hell.
Seriously, do you have a personal connection to him? You seem way too invested in him to be just a random fan.
September 14th, 2019 at 5:07 PM ^
Lmfao I’ve never started any other account. You can choose to deny truth and keep lying, that’s your prerogative. And why does it matter if I like a player? Why do you care if I like him? I’m not mad you don’t like him as a player or person or whatever. I’m frustrated that it seems like any opinion outside the thought bubble of this site just gets auto negged. The peters thing is just one example of it.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
Exactly right.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
Brandon Peters lost to Joe Milton in the QB battle
September 14th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
Harbaugh said he was the backup before the opener, then he suffered the knee injury. UMbig11 said there was a significant gap between shea/peters and mccaffrey/Milton.
September 14th, 2019 at 6:01 PM ^
If anybody actually watched the game, it was easy to see that he was bad. Especially with ANY pressure coming his way. Against EMU. Say what you want about Shea, but no way can you honestly say Peters’ losing performance AGAINST Eastern Michigan makes you wish we had him instead.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:02 PM ^
UCF looking good against Stanford.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:03 PM ^
Go Sun Devils!!!!
September 14th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
Trash announcer at MSU, says Sparty hung 50 on MMichigan the week before. Not sure if he's pandering or just forgot which directional MSU played.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
I know it was an early game, but I just saw the score - and it's worthy of comment.
EMU has now defeated a B1G team in three consecutive seasons. I know: RU, Illinois, Purdue. Still. You could have found 1000:1 odds on that 5 years ago.
Heck of a job there in Ypsi. Good for them.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:13 PM ^
I remember when they couldn't win a road game against any FBS teams for something like 25 years.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
Prior to 2017: 0-38 all-time vs the B1G.
2017-2019: 3-0 all-time vs the B1G.
Wisconsin is next! 2021. That's a much bigger piece of cheese to tear off, of course.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
I have a soft spot for EMU. I feel like they're actually 'little brother' and in their case it's not a demeaning thing to say. They've gone from one of the 5 worst programs in FBS to being among the better mid-major teams. An unbelievable feat given their circumstances really. It's to their benefit that they are so low profile that their coach hasn't been hired away by a Power 5 team yet.
September 14th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
As an EMU grad I'm happy to be little brother. I went there during the football dark ages, which is how I become a big UM fan-- just drove across town, bought scalped tickets and watched good football.
