There's no better feeling than holding your rainbow baby for the first time
This is true (though I have no idea what rainbow means in this context). But the problem is no one tells you that the reason there is no better feeling is because everything afterwards for the next several years is filled with poop, tears, spit up, projectile vomiting, and sleepless nights.
Congrats to Sam. His announcement yesterday on his podcast was really touching. I recommend listening to it for those who have an interest in that sort of thing.
A rainbow baby is the child you have after a stillbirth.
That's what my wife calls our baby girl.
Wow ...unity of the opposites on that.
Never considered something could be magnified with beauty so much only because it was set up from something as completely tragic.
Bravo to those brave enough to try again! (Mostly your wife tho)
I had never heard the term, but by this definition I actually am one.
I thought it was autocorrected from newborn, but this is far better, and I apologize for the error. I remember that he had taken some time off to grieve and be with family awhile back. Many congratulations Sam!
Don't forget the ER visit to remove Playdough from his ear.
For sure! Perspective. Our third was a stillborn. Having our fourth was beyond surreal. Never ever take anything for granted.
Same situation for us, although our fourth was followed by our fifth just three minutes later. You don't know how fragile life is until you've experienced it.
So happy for you all. Words can’t describe the strength and courage of women who dare to try again. Humbling.

Our first was a stillborn, and hardest thing I have ever seen my wife do is to give birth three more times to our boys after we lost our little girl.
It is a club that is sadly bigger than you think.
Congrats to Sam and all my MGO brothers who have been through this.
Congratulations indeed to Sam and family.
Congrats on the birth of Little Noah.
Hope Mom and baby are doing well ?.
Life is good. More work and more fun coming your way.
Congratulations
I heartily agree and congrats to Sam. My wife was his first born’s preschool teacher and she has nothing but good things to say about Sam and his wife.
Congratulations to fellow MGoUser https://mgoblog.com/users/sam-webb and family on the new arrival!
His account is only 5 days old. How credible is he really??
Great point, Neil.
Congrats Sam ......
Now THAT'S a 5* right there, drink milk get strong
...and just to be safe, become a boater?
Just make sure that the only milk consumed is mother’s milk.
Read his comments yesterday and found them really touching. Great result and happy ending today. Best of luck to Sam and his while family.
To hear about it in his own words really drives home the reality of the struggle to get to this point and makes you realize how fragile life is.
What a warrior his wife is to battle back from ovarian cancer x2. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/michigan-insider/id1045184175?i=1000445790485
Awesome! So happy for them all.
Congrats!

Love the juxtaposition of Sam's twitter banner picture of the two older boys with the new picture of the 3 Webb-lings below. In the banner picture, #2 son, as young as he was then, looking pensively off into the distance, as if looking for the missing piece. And below, he's beaming at the new commit, proudly living up to his official Big Brother jersey, with such a fine Senior Bro example setting the tone for the future.
So happy for you, Sam. For all of you.
