Ugggggh. We need him as backup.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:15 PM ^
Broken collarbones are a 6-8 week injury. He'll be back for next year no problem, and for bowl games should we need him.
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:57 PM ^
Collarbones are greatly dependent on the severity of the fracture. Hard to estimate an accurate time frame without knowing how bad it actually is.
November 3rd, 2018 at 11:04 PM ^
More like 10-12 weeks. There's a difference between a normal Joe Public recovering and a high-performance athlete. He's done till spring camp if its on the more serious side

Link, please?

People who make reports like this have a responsibility to verify their statements with evidence. I'm not the one starting the rumor. It's the job of the presenter to prove his words, not the rest of the board to disprove them. Otherwise you have anybody saying anything they want without any accountability.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:02 PM ^
Shitttttt
please stay healthy Shea....
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:02 PM ^
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:04 PM ^
Shit. Thin margin at QB now.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
It looked like he hurt his hand when I saw it on TV - sucks
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
Wow that’s bad. Was looking forward to hopefully seeing him play a lot the next couple weeks.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:06 PM ^
Ugh. Hopefully we won't need him, but I really felt comfortable with him coming off the bench if Patterson got dinged up. His running ability in particular was useful given how our offense operates on the ground. I don't think Peters brings that dimension; honestly, that's probably the biggest reason that Peters was third.
Hopefully Peters has been plugged in this year, using his time well. He might be called upon.
Steay Healthy, Shea.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:53 PM ^
Best passer on the team, and it’s not close.
November 4th, 2018 at 9:26 AM ^
Please put Shea Patterson in bubble wrap until the OSU game
November 4th, 2018 at 10:00 AM ^
Dylan was playing well enough that I wouldn’t have panicked if he had to play. Now I’m nervous if anything happens to Shea
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:06 PM ^
I just saw that one Twitter. Typical time is 4-8 weeks minimum, if I am not mistaken.
Please, for the love of all things Michigan, stay healthy, Shea, and to Dylan, wishing you a speedy and full recovery.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:10 PM ^
wish him a fast and full recovery. we will be fine with peters as the back up.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:21 PM ^
Riiiiiiiight
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:27 PM ^
LOL. Right. Have you seen the way he’s played this year, in garbage time no less?
”We’ll be fine” with Peters is NOT what I would call an accurate reflection of reality.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:30 PM ^
Peters has thrown one pass all season.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:33 PM ^
LOL. Right. Have you seen the way he’s played this year, in garbage time no less?
Peters has zero rush attempts and one pass attempt on the season. You're literally judging him on one play. Or do you think his handoffs need work?
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:44 PM ^
Lol, didn't we say that last year?
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:15 PM ^
But not fine with Peters as the starter...
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:25 PM ^
Any word which shoulder? If it's his left shoulder he should be good for bowl practices. If it's his right shoulder obviously it's a bit more dicey.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
Depends on how serious, too.
Agree, though. He may still be a factor in the postseason, and the postseason might be relevant.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:08 PM ^
Just came from the game and he was holding his right one when he ran off to the sideline.
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:45 PM ^
If I remember my human anatomy class correctly, the hand is connected to the collarbone.
November 4th, 2018 at 1:42 AM ^
Sure, on humans.
November 4th, 2018 at 10:08 AM ^
??The collar bone is connected to the...hand bone??
???The hand bone is connected to the... Chick-fil-A???
WELCOME BACK, BeetFarmer!
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:21 PM ^
If it was on that sideline dive, he was definitely hit on the left shoulder.
Doesn't mean thats where the fracture occured, but it is most likely.
For what it's worth.
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:25 PM ^
Not sure how important he'd be for the games themselves, but I hate that he'll miss development time for his future.
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:51 PM ^
Right shoulder.
November 3rd, 2018 at 11:43 PM ^
This is just based on me watching him walk to the sidelines hurt, but looked like right side.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:06 PM ^
Damnit.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:07 PM ^
That’s the first legit bad luck we’ve had since Black.
That’s the downside go running the QB. Let’s hope Shea stays healthy.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:56 PM ^
I'm pretty sure that there was a breakdown done on here and Running QB's get injured less running than drop back QB's get injured dropping back. Something about less forceful contact beyond the LOS.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:25 PM ^
Yeah. I’ve seen that too. Those numbers get confounded by guys like Denard and Tebow who are passable throwers but I’m actuality a RB and TE respectively.
Thats not really Dylan.
November 4th, 2018 at 1:37 AM ^
huh? gary missed almost a month.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:07 PM ^
Irritating.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:07 PM ^
gulp, fuck that sucks. Need to keep Shea in bubble wrap
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:09 PM ^
Milton still has games to burn. I expect we will see him vs Rutgers.
Such a for Dylan.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:12 PM ^
Yeah I'd say Peters and Milton get a heavy dose of plays. Gotta be careful with Milton though. Might need him down the stretch and don't want to burn that redshirt. Need to put Rutgers away quick with ground and pound game. Then bomb em over the top. Shae needs to avoid contact at all costs.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:17 PM ^
I think they need to get Peters as many reps as possible now.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:09 PM ^
It will be interesting. One would assume Peters is looking to transfer.
I believe he has played 3 games including today.
My guy tells me we see a ton of Milton against Rutgers.
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:40 PM ^
Peters already redshirted, why is it so hard for people to understand that rule
November 3rd, 2018 at 9:42 PM ^
Peters redshirted in 2016, so the number of games he plays in this year is moot.
November 3rd, 2018 at 10:39 PM ^
Your guy or your gut? Big difference.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:10 PM ^
Just curious, anyone know how many games he has played and, I don’t remember, has he already been redshirted? I seem to think he has but unsure.
November 3rd, 2018 at 8:11 PM ^
He already redshirted
