Who cares!
edit - gosh, I was pretending I was in the stadium when they announce the other teams players. Holy smokes, the piranhas are in full force.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:31 PM ^
You should

Everyone applaud me for my willful ignorance!
August 13th, 2018 at 3:26 PM ^
Get well soon - hopefully no sooner/later than mid September.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:46 PM ^
.. but definitely in time to kick some Sparty tail!
August 13th, 2018 at 3:55 PM ^
He'll likely be out of eligibility by 2026, but I'm sure he'll be healed...
August 13th, 2018 at 4:21 PM ^
They don’t play Sparty.
August 13th, 2018 at 7:42 PM ^
Speaking to an ND fan, they hate Sparty way worse than they hate us. Not sure why.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:29 PM ^
Didn't want to be embarrassed by Rashan Gary... smart business decision.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:30 PM ^
FYI OP from the MgoBlog FAQ page:
What should I title my threads?
Please make your thread titles as informative as possible: "Justin Feagin" is bad. "Justin Feagin leaving the team?" is good.
Toss into your title "is injured" at the end and that's a pretty damn fine post you've got there IMO.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:32 PM ^
pics or it didn't happen
August 13th, 2018 at 3:34 PM ^
This would be a huge loss for them after replacing two top ten draft picks off the line.
And yes please just add “out with calf injury” in the OP or something along those lines.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:37 PM ^
Hey, thanks for reminding me of 2 highly ranked OL targets that M not only lost to ND but also are doing well enough to be starters.....
August 13th, 2018 at 4:06 PM ^
According to 247:
In addition to Michigan, Kraemer also had offers from Georgia, Ohio State, and Penn State.
Kraemer only visited Notre Dame.
In addition to Michigan, Hainsey had offers from Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, MSU, Florida, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Hainsey only visited Notre Dame.
Maybe it's just me, but when I see two recruits getting offers from a variety of big-time programs yet their only visit is to the school where they committed, that's a big neon sign that they weren't interested in any other school besides where they committed. Which in this case was Notre Dame.
Sure, it would have been great to get them to Ann Arbor, but in these two cases it doesn't look like a Michigan-only recruiting loss.
August 13th, 2018 at 4:46 PM ^
Don! How dare you bring logic and insight into this discussion?!? Clearly Harbaugh should be able to recruit the top 100 on 24/7 as if he were going to the grocery store. Things like distance, family, childhood fandom, etc should never come between a top 25 recruit and Michigan!!
August 13th, 2018 at 3:37 PM ^
Interesting. They already had to replace a lot on their OL (two top-ten picks will do that to you).
Does anyone have a rundown of who for ND is suspended/injured? Ive heard their starting RB Dexter Williams is suspended, and I feel like I heard that someone else is out (DL maybe?), but I'm not sure who.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:39 PM ^
Yup, Williams is suspended it just hasn't been announced. Multiple people have stated he's only getting end of practice reps. Tony Jones will be their starter and he doesn't even have 40 career carries
August 13th, 2018 at 3:41 PM ^
META thing, but I've always thought it'd be great to get the projected Fee Fi Foe Film diagrams created for big 1st games of the year in December/January. You could track draft decisions, suspensions, injuries, transfers throughout the summer.
August 13th, 2018 at 5:12 PM ^
So if someone did this the offense would look really interesting, this is their offseason RB depth chart as far as I can tell:
RB: Josh Adams UDFA
Dexter Williams Suspended
Tony Jones Jr., 198 yds, 3 TD
Deon McIntosh Transferred
Avery Davis, converted QB
Jafar Armstrong, Redshirt Freshman
Jahmir Smith, #611 3* Freshman
C’Bo Flemister, Unraked 3* Freshman
Their best returning WR has 354 yds and 2 TDs, they will almost definitely be starting freshman WRs, some combination of: Kevin Austin, #82 4*, Braden Lenzy, #215 4*, Lawrence Keys, #286 4*, Micah Jones, #376 3* Freshman. Looks like they just got their version of our 2017 WR class.
Their best TE last year was a 4th rd pick, and they are expecting George Takacs, #283 4* to start.
Then finally since this is about an OL not playing this is their OL depth chart:
LT: Mike McGlinchey, 1st Rd Pick
Liam Eichenberg
LG: Quenton Nelson, 1st Rd Pick
Josh Lugg
C: Sam Mustipher
RG: Alex Bars
RT: Tommy Kraemer, was moving to LG but will move back to RT if Hainsey cant go
Robert Hainsey, injured
August 13th, 2018 at 3:38 PM ^
they already lost dexter Williams for this game. If they lose Hainsey its bad news for that offense
August 13th, 2018 at 3:40 PM ^
Our defense is bad news for that offense.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:40 PM ^
Yeah I already thought the defense would be bad news, but with this I have a hard time seeing ND score more than 14
August 13th, 2018 at 3:44 PM ^
Kind of starting to feel like Florida last year. Offense will just need to put up 20 or so as long as they don't give up any points themselves...
August 13th, 2018 at 4:47 PM ^
and no freaking turnovers to spot them 14 points
August 13th, 2018 at 5:10 PM ^
Exactly. This game has long felt like Florida to me - only way ND wins is if we give them points.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:39 PM ^
No mercy. Sweep the leg.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:39 PM ^
I imagine Rashan like- *insert Grinch smiling gif*

I thought Birdman.gif
August 13th, 2018 at 6:32 PM ^
HIT THE BAG
August 13th, 2018 at 3:39 PM ^
This is more relevant in game week. We have no idea if this is serious enough to keep him out of the game.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:52 PM ^
ND friend says he's fine and they're not worried.
August 13th, 2018 at 6:25 PM ^
Well then I guess that settles it. Nvm kid had an MRI and is being held out of practice.
August 13th, 2018 at 5:42 PM ^
He may be fine but it is serious enough to call for an MRI. At minimum he is losing critical reps and conditioning.
August 13th, 2018 at 3:49 PM ^
Hope he isn't out for the entire season, those big guys need their legs to be at full strength.
Hate to be happy at anyone's misery.
August 13th, 2018 at 6:58 PM ^
Then feel sorry for his backup, who his going to get shit kicked by our D-Line. It is going to wonderful and breathtaking!
August 13th, 2018 at 3:51 PM ^
This sounds like nothing and the mri is precautionary
“OL Robert Hainsey has a "lower leg" strain. Kelly says it doesn't appear serious, but they're being careful”
August 13th, 2018 at 4:35 PM ^
Feel bad for the kid. Injuries stink. We've had our fair share...our Dline needs to control the line of scrimmage and pressure the QB whether this kid is injured or not.
August 13th, 2018 at 4:36 PM ^
Tough break for the kid. Hope he gers better eventually.
August 13th, 2018 at 4:41 PM ^
Get well soon. Hope to see him back on the field right around week 2.
August 13th, 2018 at 4:58 PM ^
oh... so you mean now we can attack the RT spot, like teams have been doing to us for years ?
