Show causes are not easy to…

Show causes are not easy to overcome for guys trying to find a new job. For whoever it is that got one on the current staff its not an issue until he tries to find another job (and everyone on the staff is already locked in to the 2024 football season so its entirely moot).

Also looking ahead, that means whoever it is that got it now will probably be around for 2025. Assuming the show cause is for 365 calendar days that leaves the end of the sentence much past the coaching carousel after the season.

Sure Sherrone can do it but…

Sure Sherrone can do it but honestly Warde and the entire athletic department need to address this too. Just because it's only been football coaches doesn't mean that it can't happen to others in the department

It's such a fun sport that…

It's such a fun sport that fills me with so much excitement and anticipation that I just cant get into because of the absolute horseshit format.

Hausmann is a scary fast…

Hausmann is a scary fast linebacker with great size. I love that kid based on pure athletic traits.

Once he cleans up the mental part of the game he will be an awesome player for us. Made a few too many missed reads here and there (because linebacking is hard in this defense).

It is extremely embarrassing…

It is extremely embarrassing that they did a month long background check, supposedly overturned every stone and only a week later a coach gets arrested. That makes the department look back imo

Love it for the ladies!

Love it for the ladies!

They're tourney bound now without a doubt. KBA has killed it given the poor history of the program. Theyre gonna break through to a final four one of these years with the track they're on.

The article listing him as…

The article listing him as an end is wrong. He played in the middle of the defense for Wisconsin last year and he's 6'4 310 pounds. Nose

After watching him play some, he doesn't look very good so i probably rescind my previous take

Id take him. Dont have much…

Id take him. Dont have much depth at nose. Would be worth it for the ~15 snaps a game he gives.

Not the highest priority but sure why not

I scrolled through Twitter…

I scrolled through Twitter earlier and have like a dozen buckeye sites posting pictures of guys taking handoffs and other ones standing around with the caption like "this guy is a beast!" Or "Look at this guy throw the ball to this other guy"

I know I don't have to traffic in it but I genuinely don't understand how that content is interesting to anyone. There is nothing to glean from a practice in March.

In summary i just find this particular football obsession strange

This is actually good. Warde…

This is actually good. Warde sticks his neck out for Juwan like he did with Jim but this time the basketball team sucks again next year (because of course they will) and Warde loses credibility with Santa so he gets the axe at the same time as Juwan. 2 birds one stone.

Hell Juwan Probably has another embarrassing off court issue or two to accelerate the firings.

Henderson might have screwed…

Henderson might have screwed himself a bit by coming back another year. He's not a tackle and there's a lot of bad tape of him at tackle this year. Seemed like his draft prospects were much higher last year

Basketball has two dubs? Are…

Basketball has two dubs? Are you sure about that cause it doesn't seem right

I actually think that they…

I actually think that they are blowing everything up for revenue because they know at some point soon they will have to pay the players. Need the extra revenue to pay the talent.

1. That's not the new DB…

1. That's not the new DB coach. This is Cass Tech's defensive coordinator who came to Ann Arbor to work these guys out.

2. Waller is the really tall dude that the coach praises a lot

I'm not saying it isn't a…

I'm not saying it isn't a loss. It is one. But it's not accurate to say we lost this kid because of money. It's an annoying excuse that gets thrown around too much when it's not always the case.

To everyone saying the kid…

To everyone saying the kid left for money chill the fuck out because he didn't leave for money. If he wanted to get the biggest bag he would have gone to Oregon or maybe Ole Miss. Michigan had more on the table for him than Bama.

He was the 3rd safety with two other healthy locked in starters. Oh and there's also guys nipping at his heels from behind in Zeke Berry and Brandyn Hillman.  It makes complete sense for him to move on for normal playing time purposes and be a locked in starter on a terrific Alabama defense.

He absolutely had the funds…

He absolutely had the funds to pay for Herbert. Everyone else left for better jobs and not necessarily the money. Herbert left for money. Feels bad and its deeply annoying considering the discount he's getting with the new staff.

This is pathetic. Sparty…

This is pathetic. Sparty didn't even play well they were absolutely beatable tonight. Michigan just didn't care for long stretches of this game. Jacking up awful shots, numerous lazy turnovers, lazy defense. Just a total lack of effort.

Can't convince me these guys should be this bad on defense. Fire Juwan after next weekend (when Northwestern and Purdue pounds this team to oblivion) to not give Sparty the satisfaction and start looking for the next guy ASAP

Morgan seems like just as…

Morgan seems like just as good of an option with more experience. All good and can't blame a guy for staying in the NFL if it's even close to comparable money.

Play nice for now but stab…

Play nice for now but stab this gaunt fuck in the back when its time to renew the tv contract.

The buckeye huddle article…

The buckeye huddle article says he is dropping baseball to only be a walk-on football player

Some of these losses were…

Some of these losses were unavoidable. Harbaugh, Minter, Jay and to a lesser extent Elston (he wanted the DC job and it wasnt correct to give it to him).

Losing Ben Herbert was completely unacceptable. Harbaugh paid him around 2 million to steal him and Michigan wouldn't match. The other coaches left for promotions or less work but Herbert left for money. That is unacceptable given the level that the program itself built him up to be. He is worth 2 million dollars according to how Michigan has used him as the symbol of their program. Sure, maybe a strength coach isn't actually worth that much but when you consider the NIL discount you get from recruits/players that buy into the Herbert propaganda and the ability to keep guys on the roster, he is most definitely worth the 2 million. Michigan has lost at least one five star (Gatlin Bair) who more than likely would have committed to playing here had Herbert been the strength coach. How much is a 5 star receiver worth these days and especially at Michigan where we have none already? High six figures I bet!

Warde failing to see the broader picture that is fucking crazy to me. And he even has leftover money to spend from Harbaugh's contract! Where is that momey going if not to Ben Herbert?

Fire this fucking buffoon into the sun and get someone who will actually do their job.

That's just Harbaugh's…

That's just Harbaugh's secret technique to weed out guys that wouldn't fit in with the culture

It depends on the…

It depends on the environment and the amount of resources at hand.

In this current environment with Harbaugh + staff leaving you got to empty the coffers on the starters and get them to stay. You can't let a guy like Kenneth Grant walk and if the coaches they had relationships are leaving then they have to fill the void with some cash. That might mean there isn't enough money for backups in which case so be it.

Long term they have to start paying recruits as well. This isn't sustainable and was only working because 1. Harbaugh is a kick-ass coach who overcame NIL deficiencies with coaching and awesome assistant hires and 2. because it was early in the NIL era and the market was still somewhat a black box. Now players know their worth and you cant expect to keep a Mason Graham or Kenneth Grant, or even recruit them, unless they are compensated appropriately.

The back third of a roster is not worth anything and resources shouldnt be put towards it

Jim Harbaugh's wants to…

Jim Harbaugh's wants to coach football until he drops dead on the sidelines. I really doubt he would care to do push pencils and talk about budgets as an AD.

Post Year 3 weight room…

Year 3 Kenneth Grant will be a lot of fun. Jordan Davis 2.0

I think the term the kids…

I think the equivalent term the kids are using these days is "Drip"

I am not sure McCloud is a…

I am not sure McCloud is a high P5 level QB. Seems pretty telling that Cignetti didnt take McCloud with him to Indiana. Will Rogers I think sticks with Washington and also doesnt even fit our style of offense very well.

I also dont want a spring transfer qb (unless something really perfect comes along). Those guys would only have like 3 months to learn the entire offense before having to implement it in game. Just wont work.

I'd rather roll with the high ceiling dudes (Denegal and Orji) and see where an offseason of competition, and full reps with the 1s, takes them.

Also Arizona's QB Noah…

Also Arizona's QB Noah Fifita is sticking with Arizona so that pipe dream is dead too.

Looks like its clear Michigan is rolling with one of Denegal/Orji/Davis next year

They're screwed if they need…

They're screwed if they need to bring a QB in from the spring. Transfer guys in the winter often don't get enough reps to fully handle the new offense. Guys in the spring have no hope and often are not good quality anyways (think Peyton Thorne).

I'm of the opinion you just ride with what you got and do your best to develop Orji. Worst case just become qb power running team with a gadget passing game.

Slight correction the…

Slight correction the rumblings is Denver Harris* to UM

Hes the former 5 star that was kicked off A&M and also kinda kicked off LSU? Not someone who fits the traditional archetype of the guy Harbaugh wants and has already transferred once in as an underclassmen (is he eligible to transfer a second time?). All to say idk how legit these rumblings are.

We really need a wide receiver lol

There's more guys coming up…

There's more guys coming up in that class too. Jimmy Rolder, Zeke Berry, Marlin Klein, Amarion Walker, Darrius Clemons are all dudes that I think will grow into strong contributors. Awesome and underrated class

I dont give a fuck about the…

I dont give a fuck about the NFL. All 22 starters can be busts in the NFL and wouldn't care one iota.

Got injured on like the…

Got injured on like the second series against bama

We already know how many…

We already know how many recruits that him visited for the recruiting violation and they were dudes already committed to the wolverines lol. What a clown

No truer words have ever…

No truer words have ever been said. Legendary take down that shook Ryan Day to his very core.

Sometimes its not all about…

Sometimes its not all about money and this is a case where I dont think it is. LSU just had the Heisman winner and an electric passing offense. Michigan does not have that

My question is why wasnt he…

My question is why wasnt he starting all year lol? Clearly better than Barnhart at Tackle

I dont see the point…

I dont see the point. Michigan has already moved on with other kids in the 23 and 24 class that are similar projects. And it's not like he got any development in Miami so he's still at square 1

Prieskorn was grossly…

Prieskorn was grossly dropped by the rankings because he doesn't have verified times and didn't go to camps. He's a top 100 player and better than the Penn state guy that 247 has as a 5 star. He's Colston Loveland 2.0 with a better start at blocking technique.

I think both parties (Juwan…

I think both parties (Juwan and the AD) are done with this anyways. Tin foil hat hypothesis but I think both parties have agreed to part ways after the season and the university can save some face by just letting Juwan resign at the end of the year.

If I am right then maybe the AD can convince Sanderson to stay on with the agreement that Juwan is done after this year

Seemed pretty damn loud when…

Seemed pretty damn loud when I was there on November25th. I dont care what the noise level is against Bowling Green or Rutgers

1. Roman Wilson's TD catch…

1. Roman Wilson's TD catch against Nebraska this year was the coolest (albeit inconsequential because of the mauling)

2. 2021 Erick All Penn State TD was an all timer. Sucks it didn't work out for him to finish his career at Michigan

3. Dax Hill breaking Graham Mertz's ribs on a blitz @2021 Wisconsin was a moment that stuck out to me for a while.

Should have been fired on…

Should have been fired on Friday if true

He got kicked from his HS…

He got kicked from his HS team because he said on social media that his team sucked (or maybe his coaches sucked idk).  That shouldn't small of a mistake shouldn't ruin a 17 year old kid's career.  Plus his team went like 3-7 so he wasn't even wrong lol

Michigan is recruiting this…

Michigan is recruiting this kid like he's a top 100 player. They love this dude for whatever reason. Its a classic case of Jay Harbaugh finding some random off the radar kid before he blows up

Its completely fair to levy…

Its completely fair to levy criticism for all the reasons you just laid out. No one is entitled to praise just because that person represents the team we like. His job is to report out accurate information that takes us within the halls of Schembelcher hall (even if that information is not positive) and if the information that he chooses to share is misleading or inaccurate then he deserves all the criticism that went his way.

For instance, compare how Hole reported on this scandal to how Sam Webb reported on it. Sam Webb is a huge homer but he never pumped sunshine in vague allusions that never materialized. The information he reported was not always positive but it was accurate, specific and clearly well sourced.

Most places after the game…

Most places after the game were packed too. Wanted to sit down at Hopcat and watch the Iron Bowl but we were told the wait was 2.5 hours long

Jordan Marshall in 2024 is…

Jordan Marshall in 2024 is an elite prospect. I think he's very similar player to Blake Corum

Im not so sure. Ironically,…

Im not so sure. Ironically, I think Michigan's success is helping us keep him at Michigan. A lot of these other schools need to hire head coaches immediately in order to secure a transfer class and a recruiting class. Meanwhile Michigan and Sheronne Moore are busy focusing on the Big Ten title and a national championship. No school worth taking the job is going to wait until after the Rose Bowl or national championship in January.
