I loved Denny McLain when I was eight years old. But when I read what he said about teammates I was glad that Mickey Lolich had been the hero of the '68 World Series. McLain was a jerk. No amount of baseball glory can make up for stealing millions from the Peet Packing pension fund.
mGrowOld - I saw Mark Fidrych pitch at Tiger Stadium a couple of times in 1976. My mother got the tickets through some friends at work. I was there for the Monday night games against the Yankees. The ballpark was electric that night. Great memories.

Of course they know this because there could be no other reason. State it as fact and it becomes truth.

I'm sure there are more of them than drunk drivers and they're BOTH very dangerous. I drove drunk a few times as a teenager, but I've never texted while driving. Texters scare me when I'm on my motorcycle, too. People are just dumb.
Moore coached the O-line, which I believe is tougher than coaching RBs. Moore also had the OC experience. So, I don't think he was just as qualified. Kirk Campbell has OC experience at a couple of stops in his coaching career, so that would give him an advantage, too. Mike Hart may need to accept an OC job at a smaller school to gain some experience calling plays.
Hearing that Don Brown was Buddy Ryan was a revelation to me. That's why I like Sam Webb over the others of his ilk. He knows things, and eventually they're bound to be revealed.

Make the most draconian gun laws you want, and people will find a way to gain access to them. I know "guns don't kill people; people kill people" sounds simplistic, but it is simply true. We live in a violent world full of deranged people, and some people don't want to present themselves as easy prey.
As tough as hockey players are, they sure do get their feelings hurt easily. They remind me of Sparty: Always on the lookout for disrespect. Rielly should turn his anger toward his team for playing so soft against bottom feeders.

My parents live in Central Florida. It has gotten extremely crowded in the past 10 years. Traffic is hellacious.
