Exactly. My first thought on seeing the title of OP was "Just STFU". After reading it my next thought was "Rather than getting lost in that scrum, Harbaugh is probably off impressing some other kid, making a bigger impression because he's the only guy there. And when he circles back to West Bloomfield he'll make a bigger impression because he gets their full attention."

East German, your getting negged, but the people who are negging you must not have teenagers.  100% the kids of today are divas.  They are keeping score from Instagram as to who liked their pics to what coaches attend their games.

Look at it from a business perspective.  What could go wrong if JH shows up to the game?  Nothing.  What could go wrong if he doesn't?  Potentially something.  The kids of today are all about over the top attention.  Sad, but that is reality.

Eh, I'd rather have Gattis there as he's a better recruiter. I guess if you want to point out the optics of it aren't great not having Harbaugh there also, but in the end I doubt it matters much.

I mean...if you can't see how some people may take issue with "where's Harbaugh?" in the title I don't know what to say.

Also, for all of the "why didn't he make the drive", he can also make that drive at other times far easier than anyone else there.  I don't honestly know how recruiting at the elite level works, but being in a room with 4-5 other coaches and jockeying for position vs. being able to stop by after a game or host for an unofficial within an hour of campus seems like a no-brainer.

I'm sure he'll go somewhere else than Michigan and everyone will rush to comment about how Michigan is awful and Harbaugh should be fired, but if you posted an article like this on any fan blog for any team wherein their HC didn't show up, you'd get the same response.

Oh for fuck's sake...Harbaugh not being here this ONE day isn't going to change anything. Also, they still had a representative there in Gattis. Chill the hell out on Harbaugh's recruiting

According to 247 Gattis (and Jaybaugh) are Donavan's primary recruiters? Plus A) His coach is Ron Bellamy, B) I'm sure he's had plenty of contact with Jim.

Has Donovan Edwards never visited Michigan before?

Those other coaches should be there because he's not in their backyard.

Harbaugh can drive there to see him anytime.

Harbaugh is currently shooting another commercial for a new laundry detergent after it was discovered the prior brand could not keep his khakis wrinkle-free after getting run over by the OSU train, over and over and over and over and over again.

People get worked up over nothing all the time online. This is not a big deal. Those coaches are from out of state and harbaugh is down the road. Not gonna worry about this, well ever.

Harbaugh is visiting Giovanni El-Hadi and a bunch of other four-star OL in the state today, so Edwards will have holes to run through at Michigan. Shocking, but he can't visit every target on their board in one day, no matter how much people want him to grind like James Franklin or whatever.

Whats he's suppossed to make this kids bed at night, too?  What a dumb thing to "Make Noises!!" About.  I realize we're suppossed to hate everything about Michigan football right now, but maybe we can find something actually substantive to panic and run around screaming over?

Maybe, just maybe ..... and hear me out .... Gattis is their primary recruiter and and the main person they’ve formed a relationship with, and because of that, Harbaugh is handling other recruits or handling other aspects of running a program, because him being there would have virtually no effect
