Not sure about two but their first TD was a blatant illegal formation.

We were lucky to win but they weren't lucky to get a free TD on a blatant illegal formation? Come on, man.

Mark Moundros was my RB as a sophomore when I was QB as a senior. His older brother Kirk also played at Michigan along with Brian Lafer. Decent representation for an 1100-kid school!

For nearby food, and in addition to the other fine places listed on this thread, this Denverite recommends Hop Alley, Senor Bear, Mister Oso, Super Mega Bien, Uchi, Biker Jim's (perfect pregame meal), Rosenberg's Bagels and Work & Class. If you want to take an uber a few miles, make the pilgrimage to El Taco de Mexico. Plenty of other great spots named in this thread. Hard to spit without hitting a great brewery.

Can't argue with any of the sights listed here, especially considering the weather varies so much this time of year.

I believe the OP is…

I believe the OP is referring to Histo, man of the foam winged wolverine cap, present in the Maize Rage during most of the aughts and perhaps before. Rumored to hold multiple degrees, Histo is Van Wilder if you take away the looks, wit and womanizing. A nice enough guy with a goatee emblematic of the times, Histo often found himself the butt of jokes for being well north of reasonable age for the Maize Rage and unprompted e-mail threads to the inner circle and governing body. Harmless in his intentions, ever-present in his fandom. Ah, yes. Histo.

This can't possibly be a real post. Without going through each of the many inaccuracies and false equivalencies about the athlete-student experience at Michigan versus the general student body, the cost of attendance at Michigan is not even close to $100,000 per year.

A large number of college football players and their families are poor. Most of them do not receive cash benefits to play and are required to lift, watch film and practice for more hours during the week than any student spends studying. On top of that, they have at least the minimum course-load to maintain eligibility.

Fun times. I was eight and it was the first sporting event I cried at. Seats were in Section 9, Row 35. Great view of everything. Still can't believe the ball made it to the end zone. Hung up there for what felt like forever.

Father's Day Youth Camp

They literally just posted a Father's Day Youth Camp for dads and their kids.

Mediocre HS QB Here

1. The jump from HS to D-1 is unlike anything you can imagine, and being a "good" QB at the college level can be incredibly difficult. So much depends on scheme and sophistication and talent of the opponent. There are teams that almost never change or disguise coverage or blitz packages because they're limited by personnel. There are others that will drive a QB insane.

2. This is a common misconception because he does not possess top end speed. Tom Brady is an elite athlete.

3. Slow motion replay and TV make the position look easy. It's arguably the most difficult in sports. From incredibly complex playbooks and play names to pre-snap reads to 280-pounders who run 4.5 40s trying to decapitate you to diagnosing a disgusied coverage on the fly to hitting receivers in stride to beat cover 2 (over the corner under the safety) in a matter of a few seconds, it's no wonder there are so few "good" QBs in the NFL.

4. Tom Brady is notorious for being one of the most competitive people on the planet. He's often unhinged in celebrations. His "LET'S GOOOO!!!!" is a staple. He screams and yells at refs, his coaches and the opposition. Of course, there's a difference between being fiery during a play and fiery afterwards. The best QBs are emotionless in a live play; a few here have mentioned being able to block out the chaos going around you while also feeling it. The best ones also easily shake off mistakes. Brady is the ultimate QB coach cliche - he has a short memory. You can't teach it.

5. We can hope. I think at this point all we want is some confidence and competence at the position (baby steps). The one thing that sticks out about Brady's career at Michigan - other than all the winning - was that as a fan I never felt we were out of a game with him at QB. He had so many memorable comebacks it became hard to doubt him at the end. Probably won't have another 5 or 6-time SB winner though.

Listen to this man

There are better ways to spend $250,000. If you're hell bent on it, go to Michigan.

Doesn't have the pieces now?

Best group of pass catchers in the country, a top 5 D-Line, All American CB and one of the country's most dynamic players. With the question mark at QB, I don't think it's unreasonable for folks to doubt that we're a playoff contender; however, the feigned outrage and disgust over it being a possibility is laughable.

September 3rd can't get here soon enough.
