Here is how I have thought about this in a way I have yet to see anyone else describe.
Instead of rolling into the end zone let's say that Roman Wilson is rolling out of bounds. How many times have we seen a great catch get overturned by replay because the booth goes over it like the Zapruder film looking for the ball moving slightly or any part of it hitting the ground.
I am convinced that if he had been going out of bounds and the refs had called it a catch, the replay booth would have overturned the call and called it incomplete because he didn't maintain control throughout.
But since he's going into the endzone there going to say the "process of the catch" is complete as soon as he has two hands on the ball and a body part hits the turf, regardless of any movement of the ball in his hands.
It seems to be more of a case of the booth being interested in justifying their existence and saying, "See, you need us here because we are seeing things that your eyes can't see because we have all of theses different angles and frame-by-frame review".
That's a shame. He's a player that is on the cusp of breaking out. Just needs a little more time. He could really turn into a game-changer. He shows flashes of brilliance. Could be a difference maker.
Clearly needs AT LEAST one more year in college. Does not hit near enough from behind the line to make up for the lack of ability to create his own shot. And frankly is never going to have the athletic ability to be a major factor in the NBA. Looking forward to a career making money in leagues we have never heard of.

I went on Friday (took about 4.5 hours from Richmond) and met my college roommate who came from NJ. I was surprised by how few fans there were but as others have said, Friday at 3 pm and all. Plus competing with the MBB team playing in San Antonio.
I will say that Allentown was not what I expected. City is very clean and (seems) safe. Enjoyed walking around during day and night. PPL Center is a nice venue and there are plenty of watering holes right around the facility. Would go back again.
