Izzo is such douche

Watching him lose and absolutely self destruct on his team and himself is always a beautiful sight. Was at the game tonight, and the energy in Crisler was pretty awesome in the first half, the best I've seen it all season. That was the best basketball I've seen Michigan play since the 2013-2014 season. Walton has played like the senior PG that he is, and it was finally contagious tonight. Xavier looked much more comfortable with the Offense tonight, and Moe and DJ will keep getting better. Heres to winning at least 4 out of the next 7 to get in the tourney.

ALSO: What is this I'm hearing about some form of allegations made on the MSU Football program tommorow? News of Recshke, Lukusa, and maybe now LJ Scott (Name removed from MSU directory)? Can anybody shed some light on this?

Don't know if its been

Don't know if its been mentioned, but I think Thomas Wilcher, the HC for Cass Tech will take over as RB coach. He mentioned an interest in coaching college, and recruits great in the Detroit area. i would love it.

Looked at Wheatley's twitter,

Looked at Wheatley's twitter, and he just recently favorited a tweet of him being the HC at WMU. And he just followed a few more Western commits. Sigh, this is a huge loss in my opinion.

I see where you are coming

I see where you are coming from, and agree with you, but for some reason people still view the SEC as elite to the B1G, even though outside of Bama, they have a handful of mediocre programs with non-elite head coaches. But, like I said people still view them as superior, and Georgia is going through that famous "honeymoon" phase with a new head coach. Kids are intrigued by a new head coach, because it makes a splash, and is news and being talked about, and gives hope to a good program. Georgia has been so mediocre for the past decade, that something like this hire has trigged these kids like Wilson and Nico to be interested. I highly doubt this will continue once this phase wears out and they are 7-5 next season. Granted they bring in the #3 class this year, and Smart was a hell of a coordinator, but the SEC will always just beat up on eachother, and Bama will always just rise to the top.

I hope Harbaugh just offered

I hope Harbaugh just offered this trainer some made up position in the athletic department so we can get NH, i.e. Mama Gwen, Kingston Davis Dad, Partridge, Bush Sr. I know 2 of those have legit coaching staff positions, but I don't mind these moves at all. If it works, and is within the "rules" of recruiting, and improves your team/program go for it.

Side note: Hope you know I'm being sarcastic about JH offering him a job...but would you put it past him?

I think Devin Bush Jr. should

I think Devin Bush Jr. should be closer to a 79-80. Just love his game, and think he will be vital in our D next year. Also Kareem Walker is such an unknown, but I hope he plays next season at a higher level than a 78. Looking at this makes me realize how young we will be next year, but how talented and deep we are for 2018-2019. Heres to hoping Jabrill comes back for a chance to compete for a B1G title. (he would probably be like a 96 or 97?)

Just saw

Just saw on 247 composite that they jumped up a few spots in the B1G recruiting rankings to #12 from the previous #14. Does not mean much now, but if the dude could recruit that well at a MAC school, he will do alright at a B1G school. I think a few years from now you could see them recruit in the 6-10 range in the B1G which would be nice for them.

WILTON IS GOING TO PLAY IF HE CAN PLAY

plain and simple. dude is a gamer, competitive as hell, he'll play. And we're gonna fucking beat them. SATURDAY COME FASTER!!!

IMO

Spielman is the best for play by play. Very unbiased for a Buckeye, and respects the hell out of Michigan. I remember him covering a game of ours before where he explained he wanted to go to Michigan out of HS, and his Dad was the deciding factor of him choosing OSU.

Dear Coach Harbaugh,

Drop one hundred on this douchebag in East Lansing. Please, and thank you.

Signed,

Michigan Fans

Go Blue.

I would say the ONLY scenario

I would say the ONLY scenario where Peppers comes back next season would be a NC loss, or a snub to get into the 4 team playoff. I have never seen a player so competitive, and someone who enjoys playing for Michigan as much as him in a long time. That being said, I don't see him coming back to compete for a Heisman, I think being a candidate is almost as big of an honor as winning it (due to ridiculous standards and the rigged voting process, SEE McCaffrey last year stats compared to Henry). Also, like you stated, he is a sure fire top 10 draft pick, so it would be extremely difficult to turn that down. So, lets just hope we make a run in the CFP and Jabrill gets an invite when its all said and done.

DPJ and Ambry Thomas.

DPJ and Ambry Thomas. Securing the top in-state targets is an absolute necessity. Both seem to be UM leans. Missing out on McDowell, Weber and Corley still has me bitter.

We will take over that

We will take over that Chernobyl looking stadium. Can't wait.

So this means we are getting

So this means we are getting Mo Bamba? Correct?

Notre Dame and maybe Pitt?

ND to the B1G West. Pitt to the East. Making it 16 teams. It would even things out, with the East being so dominant. Change the format to 10 conference games and 2-3 cross overs. It would secure the UM and MSU rivarly with ND. I know 10 conference games is a lot, but lets be honest, the season for Michigan starts Saturday, they did their job in non-conference play, but you do not need more the 2 non-conference games to get ready for the season. Week 1 could still be a high caliber non-conference opponent (Florida in 2017), and the second week could be agianst a UCF, Hawaii type caliber opponent. Thoughts?

ND

I have State starting 1-2, with back to back losses against ND and Wiscy. Think the luck runs out this year. ND is too deep offensively, and playing a home night game just gives them even more of an advantage. 35-13.

As happy as I am about this

I really hope ND just kicks States ass in 2 weeks. And Oklahoma can someohow manage to beat OSU. That would essentially give 4 top-12 teams a loss by week 3.

Reggie Bush and Cam Newton

Hands down. Cam had the most dominant single season I've ever witnessed.

Drake Harris, Wheatley, Drake Harris, Wheatley, Stribling, and as far as Freshmen go I'd love to see Evans and Hudson on the field this year. IMO Hudson reminds me of a poor mans Jabrill, and that's saying something.
3 players:

I was a Junior when we played against Dennis Norfleet in the state playoffs for football when he was at MLK. The fastest football player I have seen live in HS ball, he destroyed us. Then my senior year in basketball I matched up against a freshman Donnie Corley, when he attended Wyandotte for his first two years. Although he was only a freshman, he was the best player on that team, and I could tell you then that he was going to be a special athlete (as of this year the #1 player in the state of Michigan for football and an MSU commit, sigh). Also, that season we played in the same pre-season tourney as Drake Harris when he played for GR Christian. He was very, very good at hoops, hoping he stays healthy at UM.

Well This sucks.
WE WANT KOSTAS

WE WANT KOSTAS

Still believe we are going 11-1

based off of the schedule. I think we will drop one of the 3 difficult road games. My best guess is this one at Iowa, or at the Shoe. Would much rather lose early, rather than the last game of the season. Regardless, we are still going to Indy this year. Guarentee.

When I refer to "antics" I'm speaking on behalf of all of his off-the-field headlines he's made since the end of our season in January. I'm NOT saying this is a bad thing, like I stated, he's made us relevant again, and I agree we were a 5-7 team to a 10-3 team BECAUSE OF HIM. But to be "content" or just "okay" with losing to MSU and OSU because they are rivals and contenders in the B1G is just absurd. And yes, as much as I love Harbaugh as a coach, HE is the reason we lost that game. To call a timeout, then come out in punt formation with 2 gunners with no defenders, and to not adjust IS on the coaching staff, which last time I checked, was him. He won us a lot of games last year, and brought some pride back into our program, but WE are better than State this year, and just as good if not better than OSU. I'm sick of the excuses of losing to these teams, and there are those that claim "winning or losing to OSU can make or break your season", which I didn't agree with in the past, but I feel that way with MSU this year. It will be an absolute disappointment of a season if we don't beat MSU this year in particular due to last years events. It is a must win for in-state momentum and pride in this program. If you guys are cool with losing to that inferior program 8 out of 9 years, then be my guest. I'm quite frankly just sick of it. And no, I don't think he's on "the hot seat" if he doesn't deliver this season lol. He's an incredible coach, I'll just personally be done with his "antics" if he fails to do so.
I'm cool with Harbaugh doing all these off the field antics, tweets, and pissing people off. But he better beat MSU and compete with OSU at the shoe this year if he wants immunity to do such things. Don't get me wrong, I love Harbaugh and what he's done to this program in a year has been incredible. He's made us relevant again. But please just win at least 10 games and beat Sparty. If we don't show up to either of those games this year I'm blaming that strictly on him and the staff. We have better talent than arguably both, and there is no reason to lose to these guys for basically a decade straight. Just play football damnit.
PLEASEEEEEE OFFER THIS KID With Jamal Cain visiting next week (with an offer finally expected) the staff is finally looking at getting more athletic. Kostas is very raw, but so was Giannis when he entered the league. These brothers are freak athletes and they are can't miss type of players.
I've been asking this for about a year now

Jamal Cain is the real deal. Have seen this kid play live, and he is EXACTLY what Michigan needs. Atheticism and size. I believe his jumper will only improve as time goes on, really hoping he gets this offer, and we have a class of Poole, Cain, and Young/Stewart. That would be huge.

Cavs in 4 Regardless of match ups and the "we beat them 3 times in the regular season!" debate, the playoff Cavs and the playoff LeBron is a different kind of animal. We'll be lucky if we can keep any of the games close. Still at least 2 years out of contending in the East.
You nailed it. Agree on all of your points. I really hope Beilein goes after Jamal Cain, and doesn't end up waiting until the last minute to offer or get him on campus. We need to recruit in the state of Michigan more successfully, and the Detroit area in general. Sumner at Xavier, and Morris at Iowa State are prime examples of this. They need to get more athletic on both ends of the floor and stop recruiting boxy big men with no athleticism. Also, he needs to stop his policy of no offer until a visit. This is college basketball recruiting, you have to play the same rules as the blue bloods if you wanna be dancing in March and going deeper than a first round exit. I love the integrity of Michigan, and what Coach Beilein exemplifies, but if you want to compete you need to get top50 talent, and with all of Michigan's resources + new Nike/Jumpman deal, there is no excuse not to snag at least 2 in every class. Xavier Simpson is a stud, but this class should have included Battle/Langford as well. No excuses to that.
This has to mean we are getting Josh Jackson!....haha ha ha ha...
I'm hearing Wilson and Doyle... Are possibilities of leaving. Wilson was a top100 recruit out of HS, and injuries have plagued him. May go back home to the West Coast. And with 2 bigs coming in this year, Doyle can see his minutes diminish, along with the emergence of Wagner and Donnal this season. Dawkins on the other hand is interesting. The end of his Freshman year we thought he would blossom, but with Duncan and MAAR making themselves stand out this year, I can see him go as well. We will be fine. And I'm VERY excited about Xavier Simpson. Austin Davis improved immensely this year, and there is no way he preps this year IMO. So my guess is Beilein is expecting 2-3 transfers.

Also, can BEILEIN PLEASE OFFER JAMAL CAIN!!! Kid is the the real deal.
MAAR is my favorite player on this team. He consistently give 110% even when we are getting blown out. Some games, he is the only one who seems to have shown up. Love his game off the dribble drive penetration, and he's our best perimeter defender on this team. Can't wait to see how he blossoms over the next two years. A bright spot in this disappointing season.

Which commit won't be included in the class due to academic reasons?
ND or Utah

ND or Utah

Great move by both schools.

Great move by both schools. Some things are bigger than a rivarly, and sports in general.

OSU

Rooting for OSU to destroy Sparty is rooting for Michigan. Regardless of the hatred that we have for OSU, we NEED them to win in order to keep our BIG 10 title and possible CFP hopes and dreams alive. IT IS THE ONLY WAY PEOPLE. Also, am I the only one that hates to see State pull a win out of their ass every week? They are facing a superior opponent, in a tough atmosphere, and the brutal secondary and beat up O-Line should get exposed. You do not necessarily have to "cheer" for OSU, but be happy to see State get what they finally deserve this season. A good old fashioned ass-whooping. Connor Cook is the only thing that has me worried in this game. It is classic State to play the game of their season against the best team, in the biggest game with big implications. My gut is still telling me OSU is just flat out the better team, and as long as we take care of business in Happy Valley, it will set up the biggest matchup of "The Game" since '06. Go Blue.
