Current setup is PS Vue Ultra package (includes Showtime and HBO for $15/month and all sports channels) and WOW! internet (includes unlimited streaming, no data caps like ATT, Verizon, or Comcast) --> $120/month (can get substantially lower with the core packages)
Stream through Roku Ultras for the 4K TVs and sticks for the other TVs.
No cords, no bulky hardware, no contracts, no buffering, no outages (like dish during storms). Can watch live TV through the app on all my devices, unlimited DVR.
Don't expect many MCDB/genetics majors here but this class was brutal. Specific mechanisms of cytoskeleton, cell-matrix motility, and specific cell-matrix interactions, etc. Remember the exams were basically blank pages where you had to draw the process out for certain situations. As someone who had already been accepted in the graduate health sciences and just trying to finish their degree it was awful.
I haven't done a damn thing at work today that couuld be even remotely considered "work", not even pretending anymore... Just been refreshing MGoBlog and twitter to get football hot takes... BEST DAY EVER!
I'll have whatever you're smoking... Many of the issues on this team are directly related to Hoke's poor in-and-out-of-game decisions. Poor clock management, develop/evaluation of talent, play-calling, poor defensive play in big games... No different than RR era. That's what he's paid for...
Cool your jets. It's all in good fun and no one on here is bashing on MSU personally like they do over at RCMB. Apparently you did not live through the decade of Michigan Men's Basketball where it was the equivalent of the Smashing Pumpkin's Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness on repeat. For once we are on top and no one is saying we will/will not lose to them this year, but it's just a good feeling.
Those who stayed loyal all those years and watched practically every game the last 12+ years (such as myself) deserve this.
Man... usually I don't do this, but I have been waiting 12 years for this moment and I will enjoy it!
FROM RCMB:
"The chicken littles are out in force tonight. Look, I wish we looked better right now too. I wish we could go undefeated every hoops season and win a National Championship every single season. Not gonna happen, sorry.
It's effing November, and this team just played four games in 8 days, with a whole lot of minutes minus Trice and Harris. Our season is not over at 5-2, not even close. You'd think at this point Izzo would have earned enough trust with the fanbase to play Gauna at point and not be questioned. The team will be FINE. Little bit of rest and some more practice time, and they will be just fine. So quit bitching about a poor showing on the road in November against a tournament-worthy team.
Izzo will destroy this game tape with a sledgehammer, and the team will go on a tear when it counts."
2002 season. I was a freshman and some kids I knew that sat near us just started doing it because they had been tailgating all day and it caught on. In my opinion it's no big deal and if someone makes a thread about this you should also include the hockey chants...
By all accounts. Soft-spoken, let his pitching do the talking, never show-boated. He really didn't deserve to have it end like this. Should have ended with him getting a save and then having a celebration after the game with everyone cheering his name. Sad.
The goal is to play for a NBA team, not a southeast Asia or Euro team.
The money differences between the 2 are astronomical.
The NCAA tournament has thousands of times the amount of exposure as any professional game abroad combined.
I think he would prefer to live in the US for 1 more year, make 1st round money, and remain in the US to play in the NBA where he can possibly win a championship.
I don't see how you can say this. So say we get a PG recruit that is good enough to start and not be at a "freshman" level in 2013-2014. You then lose the 2012-2013 season and most likely the 2013-2014 season going through his growing pains in his freshman year (assuming that the new PG trends toward the mean of "avg freshman PG" and we probably won't catch lightning in a bottle THREE times in a row like we did with Burke and DMo). By then THJ is gone, McGary and GRIII may or may not be around, and you start at ground zero once again... 2 straight years of mediocrity can absolutely hurt your recruiting and commit you to being mediocre for the forseeable future.
I'm hoping I'm wrong, but without a PG to reload with on the roster and has NO idea of the current complicated system Beilein runs... this is trouble no matter how you look at it.

Absolutely love it. Way better than cable.
That's a squat clean by Barkley, not a power clean.
Very impressive nonetheless.

Just don't pull his hamstrings...
I suspect he may or may not enter the NBA draft at some point at some future time
College basketball is amateur.

THERE YA GO!! Great hit... way to make them pay for those shifts!
He could really use a 2-out hit with a guy on 3rd for a confidence boost at the plate.
I hate Ryan Raburn.
Anyone have a good link to the live stream? Firstrowsports.eu seems to be having issues with it today.
YES.

Not much money unless it's 1st round money or if he doesn't make a NBA roster.
