looks good. I didn't realize he was playing with Gaborik, that is awesome.
Carkner beating on Boyle if you missed it:
And then Dubinsky's reaction when he got the third man in penalty and therefore the gate:
via SBNation.
the water cooler slam is so awesome
I 100% agree.....WAY worse.
He's likely to get a $2,600 fine. The NHL is not fooling around anymore. This time they mean business.
It's like a person making 40K a year being fined $13 as a percentage of their money, and the percentage has a less of an impact on them (a multi millionaire losing half his money is still a miliionaire).
Good post - missed this part. Looked like maybe he was more like the 4th or 5th guy in.
Hagelin just got a five minute major for elbowing. Alfie to the quiet room. Swede on Swede.

RT @BComptonNHL: Carl Hagelin will have hearing tomorrow afternoon for hit on Daniel Alfredsson. #NHL
Man, it was not a good hit, but I hope he isn't suspended for it. He got a five minute major for it. I don't think more punishment is necessary. It would be a big blow to the Rangers and give Ottawa a chance to get a leg up in the series.
If you are a hockey fan this NYR -OTT game is tough to beat.
And as I'm typing that the Rangers score. I was really pulling for the Sens so that's tough to see.... the Rangers have a huge advantage with Lundqvist in net.
OT could make this game even better.
you got it

this is what makes playoff hockey so great. It's been a great hockey day with the 2 OT Boston - Washington game and now some more sudden-death.
This is a great game. I love the physical nature of the game and refs letting them play for the most part. I have to root for the Rangers because of Carl and Torts. Outside of Babcock, Torts is by far my favorite coach.

6 of 13 games have gone to overtime. Great playoffs so far.

What makes playoff hockey great is the drama, in paricular, the sudden death overtimes. While my Bruins lost today, that was a great game. I really haven't been disappointed at all by any of the series. I'm glad Ottawa is actually giving the Rangers a game today, and hopefully (yeah I know the Rangers have Hagelin) they can win and make this a series (MOAR Hockey). Looks like the Blues are about to level their series with the Sharks.
EDIT: Nevermind, Rangers game over.

Ottawa wins about a minute into OT. Great win for them.

This playoff year gets crazier and crazier.
If you would have told me last weekend that Vancouver would be down 2-0, Pittsburgh also down 2-0, and Ottawa even won a game, I probably would have laughed. Parity has come a long way, I guess.

3 of the 4 games went to OT today. I'd say this thread is aptly titled.
