Like so many others, I am also concerned with the lack of an aggressive passing attack during this game. I'd really want to see the pre snap reads, since I would assume that at some point there would be a read to take a shot down field. I also came to peace with myself last night as it was clear there was nothing "cute" being called or done during this game. My perspective is that Jimmy saw this game as a must win and Michigan did exactly what was working and didn't want or need to explore the other pages in the playbook. It could be they can't pass, or it could be that Washington could defend the pass but not the run. We'll be able to tell in two weeks when Michigan faces a B1G opponent.
complete opinion as an outsider - I think the administration hamstrings the Football team and I see other proud Universities able to balance letting the team get good players that could use some help on the academic side of things.

Great write up. I am pretty sure Michigan just showed Ohio State how to beat Penn State in the way that Indiana/Northwestern showed Ohio State how to beat Michigan.
Passive RFID tech has been around for quite some time now and i was thinking along the same lines. The power is not a factor, especially when you consider that they've put an invisble yellow line on the telivsion screen and it's been there for almost 20 years. This is a very solveable problem if they want it to be... the thing is, they don't and that's why we have someone with an index card measuring an arbitrary placement of a ball with a error of +/- 8 inches. This is the same league that doesn't understand any of these and are HAPPY to make fun of science.
sidenote: if we can sync a music video to a cat dancing, i am pretty sure we can sync a location of a football to game film.
