Second Blue2000’s advice. I live in NOVA, took my son to the 2019 game and it was a blast. Purchase the parking pass early through the school and arrive early. This ensures a good spot in the lot & a great pre-game experience.
The Maryland fans are great, there will be plenty of our fans and the campus is beautiful! I believe I purchased my pass for the $15-$20 range.
The advancement of drones in the military sector is very impressive. I’m not stating capability, but look into open source material for what China and Russia recently revealed, after all they copied our models which have been functional for years & are relatively unknown to the general public.
@Magic_Fan: The last time I talked with him was about (2) months ago, while we were working with incoming sophomore linemen (my son’s class) at the HS, and we did not discuss colleges...but he was sporting a Michigan shirt :) He tends to wear the swag from visits, so that had no bearing.
Last I heard, his Mom said LSU was atop his list, but this was at the end of the school year. I certainly do not know his destination, but wherever he chooses will be getting one helleuva player.
I wish the coaches would have pursued Tristan Leigh (SI#61) sooner. My son is a teammate of his at Robinson HS, and this kid is an impressive OT on the field and an exceptional human off the field...true class act!
I live in VA, and my son is a freshman (lineman who played varsity), started going to various camps last year too. In addition to the traditional camps, Rivals has a free camp series at various stops (closest to you is in the toilet bowl region- Columbus), and these free camps will at least get your son a profile & some measurables.
Tragic and senseless, just read that a suspect has been arrested.
I wish it were mandatory for student-athletes (till their Jr. year) to live in school provided athletic dorms. I went to a small D1 baseball school and this was how things operated.
