OT: Auburn Football Freshman Jakell Mitchell Killed In Apt. Shooting
Auburn football redshirt Freshman Jakell Mitchell (TE/H-Back) was killed in a shooting this morning at 12:25am. The shooting happened at the same apartment complex Desmonte Leonard killed former Auburn football players Ed Christian, Ladarious Phillips, and DeMario Pitts at a party in the summer of 2012.

Thats crazy. Just yesterday he was a living, breathing, moving, thinking creature. Now he is just a cold lifeless mass of skin and hair. All because of a single bullet.

thats too bad dont know how a player for a major college football team has to worry about getting shot. With all the money these teams make they can at least assure their players get home safely at night

Condolences. The article stated that two other players and another person were killed at the same apartment complex in 2012. It looks like there was an arrest.
