Still amazed at the Brandon

Still amazed at the Brandon hate.  Look at the LOW LOW prices he brought to the consumer!

Plus, Harbaugh will be here.

Don't buy yet, they'll

Don't buy yet, they'll continue to drop.

He is a previously convicted

He is a previously convicted felon who was welcomed back to the team.  Just saying.

A felon and a woman beater.

A felon and a woman beater.  Get this piece of shit off the team.  Damn embarassment to the University.

Scum.

Pay the man his money.  This

Pay the man his money.  This is Michigan.  Pay whatever it takes.  8, 9, 10 mil/yr.  Get it done.

Good.  Coach Rodriguez

Good.  Coach Rodriguez deserves some vindication.

This is the move Michigan

This is the move Michigan should be making.  The 2014 season is lost. I'm unsure whether I want to bear seeing this team in a bowl game on national TV.  However, given LSU's current state, Coach Miles may soon be on the market.  Florida is definitely getting ahead of Michigan for the chance to take Mullen.

Given the past few coaching searches, I have little confidence in the AD and University adminstrators to behave properly and get it right this time.

Put $8.5 mil/yr on the table

Put $8.5 mil/yr on the table for Harbaugh.  There was talk of $10 mil. on the table when Texas was on the hunt for Saban.  $8.5 is nothing for Michigan and the alumni base.

Nope.  Need a coach who,

Nope.  Need a coach who, hopefully, will stay for a decade+.

Are we sure these kids are

Are we sure these kids are even paying attention in practice?

At least one side of the team

At least one side of the team is paying attention to the coaches and has actually shown improvement through the season.

Ten points on this

Ten points on this Northwestern team?  I'll let that speak for itself.  Clean house.  The sooner the better!

SO how does everyone feel

SO how does everyone feel about Todd Graham now?  He's for sure my #2.

Yeah, another guy none of us

Yeah, another guy none of us want to coach Michigan.

Yeah, well when you still

Yeah, well when you still have paying students living in Baits II and announce a $10 million dollar field hockey stadium... that will happen.

Opening scene of The Paper

Opening scene of The Paper Chase, nice choice.

Agreed.  The #extendhoke

Agreed.  The #extendhoke thing was rediculous.

Really embarassing behavior.

Really embarassing behavior.  Remind me again of the benefits of adding Maryland and Rutgers?

Congrats to John U. Bacon!  I

Sorry, double post.  Mods, feel free to delete.

Go Blue!

Congrats to John U. Bacon!  I

Congrats to John U. Bacon!  I have him to thank for some of my favorite reads from the past few years. I highly recommened Bo's Lasting Lessons.

Can anyone put Brandon's face in this picture?

Drunk driving is impairment

Drunk driving is impairment at ANY level.  One more example of how America's tolerance of spirits does only damage to everything they saturate.

"willing to upgrade"....?

"willing to upgrade"....?  Haha!  That was the Michigan administration that was too cheap to take Casteel before paying 3x the price for Mattison.  Goddamn embarassment that AZ has had more success with RR than Michigan.  This failure points directly to Mary Sue Coleman and her absolute failure as a university President.  All I saw during her tenure was a failining football program, rapidly increasing tuition, and falling academic ratings.

And we've seen the type of

And we've seen the type of intelligent hires he made.  From Borges down to Wellman, who has performed so lack-lusterly that Michigan athletes have been noticably deficient at the combine.  Failures all around.

Perhaps if the University had

Perhaps if the University had ponied up the money to bring Jeff Casteel like Coach Rodriguez wanted to he would've had more success.  But instead, in the infinite wisdom of those adminstrators with multi-million dollar contracts, they cheaped out on the biggest revenue producing entity in the AD, leading in great part, to where the program is today.

Hm.  Confirming what many of

Hm.  Confirming what many of us knew all along.  The problem wasn't Coach Rodriguez.  The problem lay with the University's incompetent and uncaring adminstration, along with the athletic department infighting.

Notice how as soon as fans

Notice how as soon as fans plan to wear white to advocate for Brandon's removal the AD suddenly wants the fans to wear pink to support breast cancer awareness?  Funny how that happens.  Just like the other athletes suddenly becoming vocal supporters of DB on twitter and seing the team off.

Comical coming from the print

Comical coming from the print news establishment which has a habit of publishing unverified stories with the sole basis of evidence coming from unverified and unknown "sources".

The extra, what, 50-75

The extra, what, 50-75 staffers DB has hired onto the AD in the past few years have to busy themselves doing something other than running the football program and the University's name into the ground, don't they?  Remarkable that spending by the AD is up 100,000s of dollars and the product is notably worse.

I think we'd prefer for the

I think we'd prefer for the basketball team to avoid following in the football program's footsteps.  The basketball team is the standard bearer as of late.

Sounds like a low-budget,

Sounds like a low-budget, B-level action hero movie for kids.  Did the players decide on this name or this an Athletic Department directive?  My guess is the latter.

Failing/underperfomring

Failing/underperfomring students were also directed to the classes to help avoid negative dropout ratings for the entire University to game the rankings system.  Tell me again why the University itself shouldn't be help acountable for its complicity?  Truly disgusting behavior from supposed academics.

Were her problems with

Were her problems with alcohol part (or the main) reason for her stepping down?

She must've been worried

She must've been worried there wouldn't be enough booze left over for her.

Let's not forget she was the

Let's not forget she was the administrator dumb enough to hire these fools.  She'd probably drink her worries away, embarass the University, and then make bullshit excuses for her behavior like a real leader.

Yes this is an English news story regarding her blackout speech to 100,000.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2500796/University-Michigan-pre…

'She, absolutely, had not been drinking alcohol,' Fitzgerald said. 'I want to underscore that point in the strongest possible way.'

Yes, just like Shane didn't have a concussion.  This type of behavior started with her behavior.

Gorgeous picture!

Gorgeous picture!

Well, they blew out

Well, they blew out Michi...

oh nevermind.

(No subject)

Recruits now have no concept

Recruits now have no concept of a good, winning Michigan team.  Instead, they are constantly reminded of the Tomfoolery and utter incompetence of the University administration, Athletic Department, coaching staff, and some bad behavior from players.  That is why this next hire is crucial.

Depending on the hire,  I

Depending on the hire,  I wouldn't be surprised to see Morris jump ship if he sees the writing on the wall that the new coach wants to bring in a different style of QB or Speight starts to bite at his ankles.  There will likely be a relatively large exodus of players after this season.  While the "weapons" to win are there, I can't see this team REALLY turning it around for at least a year.  I think Peppers is at risk of leaving as well.  Seemingly absent from all team matters in the past month, at least publicly.

Really? How many millions has

Really? How many millions has Coach Hoke been paid to run this program into the ground?  He was hired to do a job; he failed miserably.  Oh, and when he's fired, he'll walk away with another few million in his pocket for being bad at his job and being fired early.  Cry me a river.

So rediculous that the

So rediculous that the national media has picked it up.  Can we please have one game without Michigan embarassing itself to such an extent that it shows up on Facebook's top news?

May be focus on the last

May be focus on the last years of Carr, the adminstration, and leave Coach Rodriguez out of it.  Look what he's done at ARIZONA.  Compared to at Michigan.  Was the problem really him or the institution?  Had he been provided the necessary resources, Coach Rodriguez would still be here competing for the Big Ten Championship and a spot in the playoffs.

What do you have to say about

What do you have to say about the blind side block then?  This ain't our Daddy's NFL anymore; this is the NBA on turf.  More points and less defense!

What was that penalty? A

What was that penalty? A "blind side block"?  Are the refs just making up rules now to promote the offense?

In a few years, the NFL is going to want a signed consent form before making a block!
