we should get players as much as experience as we can before we start Big Ten play. Plus, I was wondering how he would stack up against Kovacs, so it will be good to get a look.
You refer to the D's performance against ND. What about the fact that ND did not have their starting QB for much of the first half? I think that help our D greatly.
They have the dumbest mascot in all of sports. I say "Notre Dame Fighting Irish" on shirts and stuff as a kid, and I thought that was a nickname people gave them, but they had a REAL mascot that was different. It wasn't until my sophomore year of college til I realized that is their actual "mascot."
They should institute a new rule immediately, and retroactively enforce it from 2009:
If a player signs a LOI, and does not get the scholarship (without being warned that he would have to grayshirt), then that school is docked TWO scholarships for the year after (only 83 scholarship players allowed on the roster). That will make scumbags like [insert name of SEC coach here] think twice before they pull this crap.
The big problem is the vast majority of the people in charge (Conference Commissioners and University Presidents) don't want a playoff. The best Congress can do is pass a law that says "You can't call it a National Championship Game unless it's the product of a playoff." IMO, since the ppl in charge don't want a playoff, they would be more likely to go back to the way things were before, where the champion is determined purely by the polls.
I have always said that Lloyd did not do a good enough job recruiting DEFENSE. And there is only 1 defensive player on that list, and he was recruited by Lloyd, and he did not have enough skill to play after RR took over. The defense was not great last year, and it is pretty thin now, and I blame Lloyd for that. Is there anyone else who could be at fault for the current state of our D?
I remember reading an article, I can't find it right now, but some one wrote that there were a lot of blatant holdings that were missed. I will post it if I can find it. I agree, however, that game wasn't the best example of the Wolverines getting dicked over. Please disregard last week's Iowa game above, and replace it with 2005 Alamo Bowl. Thank you.
He is an OSU fan. I wasn't watching, but according to him Purdue fumbled in the first half, but the refs made an idiotic mistake and didn't give OSU the ball. Can anyone verify this?
It makes me remember how I felt when the Tigers (play in game), Wings(Game 3 of SC Finals), Lions (BS Pass Interference that cost them game at MIN last year), and Wolverines (Iowa game last week) got dicked over, and I don't wish that feeling on anyone except the worst scumbags I know. (My roommate is not a scumbag.)
Ray Bentley was showing off his stupidity in the broadcast. While it seemed to me that it was a simultaneous catch, there was no INDISPUTABLE video evidence to show it. I was yelling so loud because Bentley kept saying that the ball should have gone to Indiana. Pam Ward was the other announcer. Could they have had a worse announcing crew for this game?...
I can answer this question for OSU fans because I live in Columbus. Unfortunately, I had to watch the game in a bar yesterday because I don't have cable yet. So I went incognito wearing a red and white Oakley shirt. Let me tell you, OSU fans root against us. It was incredible to see how passionately some of the OSU fans were cheering against us. Two thoughts were going thru my head:
1. Could you take some of that energy you use to hate M and use it to like OSU?
2. You do realize it will reflect poorly on the whole conference if M loses, right...?
I have a friend who got over $20 once. He said that he applied to cash out, but they only pay about ten ppl from each bracket, so you have to have one of the ten best percentages, and it is really hard to be that good. It seems like they pay, but it is HARD to be one of the ppl that actually gets money.
Guillen just jacked a 3-run shot to the opposite field. Rod Allen said he hit it oppo. Never heard that expression before...
Inge just struck out to end the inning, but geez. Way to go Tigers! 10-0!

Maybe Kovacs can be our Mike LB next year...

Maybe one day he will understand that while Denard = winning, Weis = losing.
Then, he is not your little boy any more.

Crist had all day to throw. (But what do you expect with a 3 man rush?)
But the point is that you could have the best secondary in the world, but if you don't get any pressure on the QB, they will get burned.
high of 69...
Is there a link by any chance? And what was the best thing to do, according to the experts?
Your hypothesis is Invlad. *rimshot*

... I don't feel the least bit sorry for him.
Starters look good, but the backups look like the same old Lions. : (
Any posbang left?
Hopefully he didn't talk about his recent bowel problems...

I'm unemployed, and Pam Ward gets to keep a job that she is UTTERLY HORRIBLE at.
*sigh*
