As someone from Ohio who is now at UM looking to enter the medical field, he’s making an excellent choice.
I just wrote a tour itinerary for another friend visiting who was also shut out from official tours but shortly thereafter realized that I wasted my time because the University self guided tour is pretty good.
The real missing parts are what is off campus. Make sure to spend time on South U, Kerrytown, Main Street, and in the area around state/liberty. Hit Fritas, Jug (atmosphere and history of UM more than food), Taq, Angelo’s, really any of the well rated restaurants are properly praised.
Also, depending on weather, the Arb is amazing this time of year and also Argo nature area is a great spot I didn’t find out about until my Sophomore year.
You had my upvote until Hey Jude. Also dude looks like a lady by Aerosmith. I thought the title was funny when I was a child and then when I heard the song for the first time the comedy of the name was no longer worth the annoyance of the song.
I’m currently a student at Michigan and I can honestly tell you if orgs still did that I would be forced to avoid the diag all fall for my own mental health.
I am going to be a Sophomore at Michigan this year. Although the label is a “hybrid” of classes, the in person component mostly applies to upperclassmen who are in smaller more specialized classes. However, even my upper level Spanish class with 25 students has switched to remote.
Most of my friends whom I’ve spoken to are indicating they will take classes For full price regardless of classes being online or in person. Personally, from an OOS tuition perspective, I find this hard to justify and absolutely plan on taking a gap semester/year and working. The quality of online learning is just too much worse.
Last year at this time I would say Isaiah Wilson. As of today I would say Najee Harris. Would love to have an extremely talented back in front of Charbonnet. That is, assuming the Michigan-highly-recruited-running-back-disappointment curse wouldn’t have claimed him too.
Disregarding everything else, I still find it honorable of him to never say anything bad about his players in front of the media. Always stands by his players and his team, only acknowledging the success of the other side.
This is true and the coaching and development is extremely important, but the talent gap still is important. I caught a glimpse of the Alabama-Auburn game and while I was watching an Alabama player got hurt. The announcer then said "wow I wonder which 5-star they'll put in next." The depth that Ohio State will have would be really hard to match and will be extremely advantageous for them.
