3 way tie where we are not invited to the B1G championship game might actually give us the best shot at making the playoffs. This would save us the risk of another tough game. Also we would in this scenario have the best win of any of the 3 teams (over OSU), the loss furthest in the past, and despite the head to head win I really wonder if the committee would rather have a clearly lucky (again, somehow, fuck) MSU than name brand Michigan after finally breaking through against OSU. Of course gotta do it OSU first...
Perhaps I have on a tin foil hat, but I fully expect this to happen what with us having 8 home games left vs 6 road. My expectation is the memo will come out just prior to our Feb 8 meeting with MSU...
You can call that 5th one on Teske but only if you've been calling soft dumb bullshit both ways all day. Couldn't agree with you more though that this was death by 1000 paper cuts from the refs (as opposed to a few monstrous decisions). Even the announcer said after the Juwan Howard technical that it looked like he had been simmering for a while. I liked his tech as well, and hope that he slams the refereeing at some point to try and change the tide in the series, as opposed to Beilein, who always sat quiet after getting violated by the zebras
MSU shot the lights out. The refs called this game pretty darn one sided (Teske's final foul and the totally obvious Tillman hook on Teske early in the first half amongst many other examples). And we were missing our best shooter and go 5 of a million as a result. Not actually concerned about this loss. Yeah we will lose to good teams if we don't hit jumpers, that's not new news. Actually pretty proud of how the team kept it a game, even with the garbage foul trouble. If we get an even whistle and Livers back, we are the better team. Getting a even whistle against the little Green Goblin might be a lot to ask for though...
But it’s not a lot of film. My point still stands though, the TAAC is not a strong basketball conference (tennis maybe). Anyways I really hope he goes blue and kills it. MV graduates 50 kids in a class and doesn’t even field a football team. Never in my life had I dreamed I’d ever see a guy from MV play a revenue sport at Michigan
Go Hawks! No idea we had this guy, but from what I remember of the competition level in the TAAC, gotta take the high school film with a grain of salt. Hopefully he joins the squad, Ohio point guards have been good to Beilein
cribspot.com is an excellent resource where all the off campus housing in Ann Arbor is listed. It was founded by U of M grads. As a side note, as a med student you will spend very little time on 'campus' and proximity to the Medical campus and hospitals is what you really need.
I'm a fan, it's the whiskey that has really been turning me on to other ryes. Got a lot of bite to it, which I enjoy, but I often throw an ice cube or 2 in to mellow it out.
The O has lit IU on fire so far this game, but I don't like letting them shoot 60% from the field. Though we have forced some nice turnovers, which counts for something on D.
Also I hope everyone savored Donnal's vicious block, don't see that too often.
This article mentions that we may use his scholarship on a grad transfer WR prior to the start of the 15 season. I had totally forgotten that was even a thing we were concerned about. How silly of us.
24 year old alumni season ticket holder here, nothing beats tailgating and being at the actual stadium for me.
Most friends I graduated with would rather just buy single game tickets because it turns out to be cheaper that way. If you can't get a ticket easily you watch on someone's giant HDTV.

Consummate program guy. Look forward to seeing him in the maize and blue again in 20 years. Sitting in the head chair.

Yeah I'll take that making the tournament bet with you for any price

Thought I saw he was taking Liberty, Virginia, Farleigh Dickenson, and Abilene Christian
edit: thought*
83-67 Michigan!
Earlier was Founders Backwoods Bastard, Dogfish 90 minute, and Griffin Claw Norm's Raggedy Ass IPA (I'm on the started at 1 team).
Michigan by roughly one million tomorrow. Maybe 2. We hot.

Zingermans is really really good, but yes it is overpriced. That doesn't make it not delicious though.
Wolverine Brewing Company has not just solid beer, but also really good BBQ, and the best nachos around.
Mr. Spots has awesome wings and cheesesteaks. Also the best tuna sandwich in the world according to Bo (on the wall). Never tried it though.
As for the great BTB debate... Get the quesidilla. And if you ever go back to Pancheros after that then I pray for your soul.
48-0 Michigan!
Admittedly, assuming we make 2 field goals is a little optimistic
21-6 Michigan!
Doesn't hurt that they produced the #2 pick in last year's NFL draft either.
42-0 Michigan!
58-7 Michigan
