Most Rutgers fans absolutely vilified Partridge when he came to UM and starting recruiting Jersey really well.

Not more than a month ago their fans had him on their “board of replacements for Ash”.

We got a good one in CP.

Some of our young DEs made some plays this year and got some experience they will pay off next year.

I remember Uche’s sacks against NW and thinking, “Crap, that man is fast off the ball.”

Hutchinson causing that weird safety against Nebraska.  DEs will be a strength next year for sure.

I’m holding out hope. 

Thomas will be good in his own right, but some senior leadership will always help.

His recruiting profile showed him as 6-6, 253# when he came to Michigan.

With Chase and Rashan both moving on after the bowl game, I would think there’s a chance for him to see some minutes next season!

I can’t wait to see what Vilain is capabable of if healthy next year. I know some people tried hinting at him being a part of the attrition this offseason, but he has a real opportunity on a top 10 team next year and I don’t see him moving on because of his injuries.

He threw for 3400+ yards in both 16 and 17.  Anybody have his 2018 stats?

He has some talent in front of him too, so he’ll have time to develop under Harbaugh and really learn the system.

Regardless of how OSU and PSU finish their respective classes, I think Michigan is in a very good position for the next couple years.

This class has:

•Great D-Linemen

•ELITE DB commit

•A WR who seems to have the athleticism and hands to be great.

•One of the best RB recruits in the country (if not THE best.)

•Much need OL recruits

•Great athletes at the LB positions

I would think he has to come back, and anybody we return in the secondary is a bonus at that point. The important s of returning leadership and experience can’t be overstated.

I don’t know why, but I think Long may return even though he looks like the most ready of the 2 at the moment.

I’ve seen it in a couple posts the last week but haven’t seen it from any of the big sources.  Would be nice to have at least a couple returning veterans in the secondary next year.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation (or really any cancer research foundation) is another cause that means a lot to my family and others that have been effected by the disease.

Michigan does have an embarrassment of riches at the WR position with Bell and Martin filling in that Perry role next year.

I think this is where the new redshirt rule really helps these young guys.

An extreme instance where I couldn’t be any more happy to be wrong! I’ll admit, I’ve been pretty emo this year because I thought that this may have been our year to see the Maize and Blue in the playoffs.  This class has shattered the expectations I had, and Hill will be a dude from day one.  I think we reload, not rebuild next year.

Because of the impossibility of my tongue-in-cheek “bet”, I’m willing to do something else to pay the piper for how wrong I was.

I’m thinking a $30 donation to the charity of MGoBoard’s choice.  I wish I could donate more, but things are getting tight as we approach the holidays.
