Same same! Glasgow is fine but getting up their in age and would be best as a backup to cover for Ragnow and another stud guard as he is so valuable for his position versatility and doesn't break the bank.  We have a lot of guys to start paying on the Lions the next 2 offseasons so paying Jackson who is solid but not great $14M or whatever he wants is not a great value.  Brad has shown he doesn't care about "positional value" so we could see ZZ to Lions in the 2nd round - of course it might be the last pick of the round ;)

Honestly they are probably going to need to invest a lot of resources in the line soon as Decker is getting up there in age and Ragnow despite being elite seems to not even be able to practice most weeks with his toe thing.

Would love to see him on the Lions replacing Jackson and saving us some $12M or so. (I used to never wish Michigan players to the Lions - how times have changed)  With that "clean" of an injury vs a knee can't see him dropping past the 2nd round with his talent.  Looks like a plug and play guy who will play in the league 12+ years and go be an All pro for 5-6.  So happy they were able to win it for this guy.  Loved Blake's 6 & 5 finger gesture on the very next play!

A lot of us who grew up in Michigan got used to dealing with crummy pothole-infested roads that are by most accounts the worst in the nation. As an Ohio resident who's made the A2-Columbus commute often, I can testify firsthand to this.

However the last three years, that route back to Ohio has been smooth and enjoyable and I can't help but think Zak paving the way with OSU's front seven was the difference.

Go Blue and godspeed, big guy.  Go be great in the big leagues.

I wish he could have been healthy to the end, he deserved to be on the field in the trenches.

Godspeed young man and thank you for everything you have done at Michigan.

Let's go Zak!

Not surprised.  I hope his recovery is progressing well enough that the injury will not affect his draft stock.  I wish him well.  He will not be easy to replace be replace him we must.

perhaps you, like me, once got texts from anxious friends saying some variation 'how bad is our offense going to be when this true FR O-lineman is reportedly the best player on O?'
