This will be the thread for takes regarding the offense and offensive playcalling.

How do you have a 6'5" 240lb QB and not sneak it in from the 1 yard line on 4th down?  What other play do you have in the book that has a greater opportunity for success?  Shotgun formation?  Are you fucking kidding me?

Burn the motherfucker down.

If Milton would stop smiling after every overthrow and incomplete pass, I’d be fucking ecstatic. Maybe im misinterpreting it for smugness, but I wouldn’t be smiling down by 30+ points and getting my ass handed to me.

Michigan feels cursed.

The offense cannot get a game script where they can consistently run the football. They're seemingly always off schedule and stuck in third and long.

They gotta do better on interior runs if they want to open up the edge. Without production, the defense isn't in conflict. They don't have a bread and butter play to counter off of yet. Playing from behind is killing them.

Players gotta make plays. Too many drops and missed blocks. The offense needs to help the defense out and not compound the problems by going three and out.

There are some bright spots and some kids that deserve recognition. Giles Jackson, Mike Sainristil, Ronnie Bell, all the RBs...there is talent and more team speed than we have had in years, maybe ever.
But damn, the coaches are blowing it.

I can only attest to the first quarter, but going for a run on 3rd and 8 after running two consecutive plays prior, brings up mental questions. Has harbaugh lost his mind?

Based on what little I saw from Cade McNamara, he looked like a college-football quarterback. Based on having seen too much of Joe Milton, he has looked like the very same “project” he was when he was recruited – a guy who might be able to throw a football 70 yards in the air, but who's incapable of fully understanding the nuances of quarterback play.

Jim Harbaugh has proven that he’s NOT a “quarterback whisperer”.

Joe Milton has a strong arm, but he doesn’t know how to consistently throw the ball, or make the read quickly. He’s lost confidence.

They should’ve been able to make quick throws based on how long they take to identify defense at LOS. They need to vary formations.

They need to not change personnel every play or every other play or every series. There’s no rhythm, no focus.
