Did you say... Tenet?
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:02 PM ^
LOL! Nice job
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:32 PM ^
Beat me to it!!!

That's a lot of scratch for a guy that won't recruit, actually coach players on the field, or call a defensive alignment. The SEC way..... I hope to God our analyst weren't making that much. Not because I care, but because it was stealing when you consider the product on the field.

Smarts playing 3d chess right now while other play checkers.
Ultimately Muschamp will probably get hired as a HC, and ultimately Smart will be fired....and need a job. Boom, he just hired his next boss.

Right? Everybody here analyzes Michigan each year for free!
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:29 PM ^
This brings up a question actually . . . what is to stop him from being on the phone with their DC during the game?
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:53 PM ^
I think all our analysts combined made about that much last season. DeBord's salary was $50K.
February 3rd, 2021 at 6:53 PM ^
Seem stupid to pay him that just because that is a TON of money for an analyst, but also doesn't he have to give any money he makes from football to offset the buyout from South Carolina? Seems weird he would drive up the price like that if he isn't pocketing any more than he would have anyways.
February 3rd, 2021 at 11:52 PM ^
Great observation...have to wonder how an analyst role is structured. Meaning, is it 1099 and not W-2, which mean they aren’t a full time employee and thus circumvented having to pay towards the buyout ?

You're assuming he won't recruit, coach on-field, or call an alignment simply because the rules say he cannot. It's the SEC. Of course he'll do every one of those things. Sponsored by McDonald's happy meals.

Good job Kirby not so Smart. He sure has that AD buffaloed.
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:25 PM ^
I'm going to tell me kid stop trying to be a doctor ....try getting into coaching football!
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:28 PM ^
Lol all things considered I still think being a doctor is among the best deals out there.
February 3rd, 2021 at 5:42 PM ^
After 2020 may want to rethink that, the doctors got treated as an expendable in this country.
February 3rd, 2021 at 7:28 PM ^
Yeah. Us doctors took a massive cut like many others on our salaries, we put ourselves at risk, then the government cut our reimbursements, again. We take a pummeling.
February 3rd, 2021 at 8:05 PM ^
Speaking from experience, but I believe this to be false. Dentists have it fucking made tho
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:39 PM ^
Football coaches, in general, are not that bright and their worldview is limited almost exclusively to football. Kids... if you can be a doctor, be a doctor!!!
February 3rd, 2021 at 4:54 PM ^
I’ve always said my dream job is to be a fired college football coach with a large buyout
February 3rd, 2021 at 6:17 PM ^
That's a Whale of an idea, Charlie, you Great Weis Whale.
February 3rd, 2021 at 5:03 PM ^
Good for him. His kid is a walk on QB at UGA.
February 3rd, 2021 at 5:44 PM ^
Good work if you can find it
February 3rd, 2021 at 5:50 PM ^
The OP's headline makes it sound like Muschamp is a flasher.
February 3rd, 2021 at 6:03 PM ^
Are you sure he isn't?
February 3rd, 2021 at 8:06 PM ^
I mean, McElwain humps sharks...
February 3rd, 2021 at 8:59 PM ^
Somebody something five hookers somewhere.
Allegedly.
February 3rd, 2021 at 6:03 PM ^
Where there's a way.....there's a Will....
February 3rd, 2021 at 6:40 PM ^
Will and Kirby as partners in a cannonball run style road trip movie is something I would watch. Somehow though I think it will be a rerun of Georgia looking strong then coming up short down the stretch
February 3rd, 2021 at 7:14 PM ^
I like him but love the young ace recruiting staff we have now. Feels great. These three DL we just scored late, are all them.
February 3rd, 2021 at 7:57 PM ^
Did Warriner stay on as analyst?
February 4th, 2021 at 7:48 AM ^
Hope he teaches the Death Stare
February 4th, 2021 at 10:11 AM ^
Gotta be awkward as an analyst to be making less than some of your players
February 4th, 2021 at 10:28 AM ^
Good landing for him right now back at home and with Kirby Smart as he and Kirby played together. Muschamp has to face the fact that he is NOT a head coach but a coordinator. Nothing wrong with that and way less of a headache. The is the same deal with Rich Rod but his shitty ethics is what caused his head coaching demise instead of head coaching leadership abilities. Had RR succeeded in Ann Arbor it would have come to an embarrassing end for UM just like it did for Arizona. I cannot believe that he was paying someone to escort his mistress along the sidelines as his wife was there as well. He left a shit trail everywhere he was and had shady real estate dealings in WV before leaving for Ann Arbor. At least Muschamp doesn't carry this weight with him. I cannot believe he beat Michigan though!!!
