Who (ONE TEAM ONLY) do you want scheduled for future non-con games?
Recalling the recent ranting and teeth-gnashing about dropping Arkansas in lieu of Notre Dame, I am curious if the AD actually questions the fan base about whom they would like to see in non-con matchups (considering this is the one sport most driven by fan-derived revenue, this seems like a reasonable notion). As such, who would be your top pick (only one) for a future out of conference opponent (regular season) that IS NOT currently on the schedule - and why? Hopefully, someone in the dept will view these suggestions and perhaps take some action (home and home is best).
Personally, I will go with LSU since 1) has never played UM, 2) traditionally a good FB team and 3) would love to take down another "premier" SEC program.
EDIT: This is also meant to be a challenge to the board. You need to pick just one team to add to the schedule (just throwing out a list of teams defeats the purpose - justify why this one team is worth adding over the others).

Either LSU or Georgia. I'm surprised we've never once played LSU, but going down to Death Valley to play a game would be intense. No neutral site crap. These series are MEANT to be home and homes. Makes for a much better experience.
Georgia would also be great. The wife is a huge UGA fan and would make for some bragging rights to be at stake in the house. I also went to Athens for a game a few years back and it's an awesome place to watch a game.
Third place would be USC to get some kind of revenge for all of the heartbreak and clobberings they've given us in the Rose Bowl.

We need to pay them back for how poorly they treated Les Miles at the end of his tenure

Tennessee.
Would love to do a home and home with them. Neyland Stadium looks fantastic, almost as amazing as the Big House.
Plus, we owe them a loss after they clobbered us in the 2002 Citrus Bowl.

I hate the fact teams have to schedule years in advance. You never know if that team will still be a top level team by the time you actually play them. However, I'd love to see us beat on USC annually.

Georgia -- it's another epic college football venue and one of the better schools in the SEC. Clemson would be sweet too, since I live 40 minutes from there and my son (a huge Michigan fan) is a student.

For completely selfish reasons Arizona in a home and home. The school is really close and I could watch the game :D.
For sports related reasons, I'd schedule Alabama. It would be a huge game and even if you lost a close one, it wouldn't eliminate you from the playoff.

I vote for Georgia Tech. It would be fun to see us against that offense.

UCLA, so I can see Michigan in person without having to travel far. Road trips to Stanford, Berkley, San Diego State, UNLV or the Arizona schools would be fun. I debated going to Utah, but that was a couple hours too far.

I chimed in earlier, but I just wanted to add, this may be an unpopular opinion but I would rather play games against any of the schools listed in this thread rather than Notre Dame. I certainly respect the tradition and history of the series, but I just don't feel the rivalry is that strong to merit a fixed 10th game each year. I'd rather play a solid P5 program in a home/home instead.

Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, and Oregon, in that order.
Also, please keep the Washington games on the schedule. We shouldn't chicken out.

Navy! Sure, Michigan would have nothing to gain from playing the Mids and it would be one of those cutblockapalooza games against a pesky flexbone team but as a USNA grad it would be a dream match up for me.
