What other college football program do you have great respect for?

My answer would be Boise State. They've won big without negativity, finding huge success at each level. Outside of the 2011 NCAA violation that led to the ousting of their AD, Boise State has kept it clean and have done so in Idaho!

What say you?

University of San Diego and Ferris State University with a tip of the cap to Grand Valley for years of success. Miami of OH has been very good to the game as well, providing numerous coaches at every level of the game.

TCU: Gary Patterson is a fantastic coach. He built a program on defense, and was able to transition to an offensive machine when he realized that is how games are won in the Big 12.

WMU: I hold a degree also from WMU as I do M. Love to row the boat.

Kansas State: Bill Snyder is the man.

GA Tech: When the triple option is clicking, it is the most beautiful offense to watch.

Washington State: Outside of Harbaugh, Mike Leach is my favorite coach in CFB.

I haven't been neg-bombed lately, so ... I have some respect for MSU. They've been outstanding at the combination of player development and recruiting. Many of their significant players (Cousins, Bell, et al.) were generic 3-stars or worse. Of course, I don't fully respect them because of Dantonio's personality, annoying fans who live up to the "little brother" personality, etc.

Well they had an all American linebacker who was about 265 lbs and a projected first round pick who was mysteriously suspended for the final game of his senior year and then went undrafted and the beat writer says he knows the secret of why he was suspended but he doesn't feel it is his place to reveal it. I'm reaching into the depths of my memory for that one but Does that sum it up?

I dislike Bama, but you have to respect them.  I thought the National Championship Game last year was tremendous.  Bama had to make about five different plays to win that game and they made them all.  They should rezilience and character.  And they play with great technique.  You have to give it to Saban, too.  He pulled the national championship out of the fire last year with that on-side kick.

Before the league expanded with Nebraska, mine was always Wisconsin.  They've run a clean program and our games with them were always incredibly physical.  Just two heavyweight boxers throwing body blow after body blow.  I loved the Wisconsin game more than any on our schedule other than the traditional rivals.  They were intense, knock-down, drag-out fights where you had to be tough to win.  After expansion, meh, we don't play them enough and they're twinsies with Nebraska.

Wiscy plays the best game of their season every time they play Michigan and then shits their shorts against every other good team 95% of the time. Yeah 95%, I ran the numbers. So if respect has similar meaning as annoying and sickening as all hell, I'm in.

Hard to blame the program itself for the racist comments made to Gary. I respect Dabo, like the style of their offense and, unless I'm forgetting something, I don't think they have a lot of guys with off field issues.

Cincy. They went from a third rate MAC reject who once lost a coach to Harvard to a P5 candidate who can steal coaches from Texas Tech through shrewd decision making in their coaching hires (Dantonio, Kelly, Jones, Tubbs).

Also much love for Northwestern.

This isn't exactly answering the OP's question but if I was a top-level recruit and wasn't able to commit to Michigan for whatever reason my two other choices would be USC and Oklahoma.
