In our company newsletter HR went around and asked people what they wanted.   This was the beginning of November.  My Christmas wish was prescient and became reality on November 27.

Edit*  One of my work buddies wished for a national title.  Fingers crossed his wish piggybacks off mine.

My parents sent some Big Ten Champions stuff, but at the house, my wife and I generally don't get each other gifts because, let's face it, it all comes out of the same checking account and we get what we want from various stores all years, so there's generally not much left by the time December comes around. We focus on the kids at Christmas.

It’s not about money. I went to my daughters in laws yesterday for their Xmas and they do a simple gift exchange due to finances. The dads a truck driver in Ohio (cliche) I know, and the mom is a waitress. Good food, lots of love and money was the last thing anyone was thinking of. They even live in a Mobile home just to finish painting the story. My wife and I make a good living working for and around millionaires, but last night was all about good folks and good drinks and a family who’s wealthy far beyond money and I’ve never felt more comfortable.

Got my entire family's B10 Championship Shirts (that I ordered the night they won it) on the front porch today sent Next Day Air by MDen. I wasn't expecting them until the new year.

Also got a Michigan ornament that is a tradition. My wife goes all over trying to find handmade ones at craft shows.

Merry Christmas everyone, hope the time with family, laughter, and joy is the best gift you receive today.

Big Ten Championship locker room T-shirt and pint glass.  Picked up a ticket to the Orange Bowl after asking for these, so I will need to place another Mden order some time to commemorate this as well.

I got two tix to the game!  My wife is a Georgia grad and former cheerleader back in the days of Garrison Hearst and Hines Ward.  She hooked it all up.  We are staying at the Stadium Hotel near the Stadium.  It's not the Ritz but it should do the job.  Any thoughts on this hotel from anyone that has stayed there?   We still have a few days to cancel, but my thoughts were that it sure makes it easy to get to and from the game as it is less than a mile apart.

New Nike/Jordan winter hat and gave a #2 jersey to my son. Almost didn’t get it but Mden got it printed and next day air to me (didn’t even ask). Great customer service! I got lots of LL bean outerwear for my trip to Boyne in a few weeks to go with my hat. I forgot that the wife got me the new Jordan sideline jacket, but gave it to me before we went to the OSU game. It’s my favorite thing in my closet and has special powers when worn around Ohio. It really pisses people off.

7 years ago I took an Ohio State helmet pinata from my friend that teaches Spanish. Then I filled it up with a bunch of chlorate and added sulfuric acid. Merry Christmas everyone!

We splurged this year and will be in Miami for the game.  Had to pick up a few MDen shirts for the game.  Also, a little player branded shirts/hoodies to spread the love.

The first thing I opened was a really nice navy hoodie, but before I looked at it, I held it above my head and yelled: BIG TEN CHAMPS!  No, just a plain navy hoodie. Hmmm. Next present I did the same thing, tore the wrapping off without looking holding my prized possession aloft and yelled: BIG TEN CHAMPS! Nope, just a white T-shirt. Aaaarrrghh, now my wife is just messing with me. 3rd present/time was the charm, Michigan Football BIG TEN CHAMPS T-shirt. I sure like saying that: Michigan Football BIG TEN CHAMPS!
