DeJulius floor slap was clever! When he did that, Spartans were perplexed, confused because they thought they were the ones that did that. With the Sparties on their heels, a Michigan scoring spurt followed.

Let me reiterate how huge it is how Austin Davis from little Onsted Michigan has stepped up his game such that when he spells Teske (and Teske often gets into foul trouble), there is almost no drop off of play from our bigs. It reminds me how Teske developed last year so that he was a dynamo when the tournament came around. And also kudos to Brian Johns who has developed into a key piece while Livers was out. All of these improvements bodes well for the team.

On one of his baskets today, he had Bingham (good shot blocker) guarding him as he got the ball down low. Last year, that wounded have ended up in a turnover. This time, Davis didn’t even flinch. He went right at him, put a good move on him and scored. He is giving us great minutes and should be getting more of them.

Johns off the bench sparks this team with Livers starting ! Bench 21 pts today and some clutch plays ! We now have key wins vs Gonzaga , creighton , MSU , Rutgers , Iowa , and lunardi calls purdue and big win now ! We have to win the next two to get to 16-9 and 7-7 ! Great energy today ! 48 second half pts

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Michigan has lost exactly one game with Livers starting and not getting injured during the game, right? At Louisville?

This team is primed for a run, and at the perfect time too

Edit: I'm wrong. Lost to Oregon and Illinois too before Livers got injured

Best part about him coming back is John's is back to the bench. Finally some offense/athleticism off the bench at the forward position. Bench is key now when it seems like every starting lineup matches the other.

Livers is clearly the key to this team's success-opens the floor and relieves the pressure-makes the game easier for everyone else.

A very good time for Greg Brown and the bevy of top recruits to be in the house!
