It's Friday!!!  And M&WBB is back!!!  Can I get some hockey?!  Wrestling?!  Gymnastics?!  How about a POSBANG?!  Bring it all on!

And it's so close to drinking thread time too!  (I swear I haven't started yet.)

Go Blue!  Beat everyone! BANG!

Let's get this thing rolling again.  No one was hotter than us when we paused.  Hopefully it's just a few minutes of rust and then back to whooping some cheesehead ass on Sunday.

Had a hard time getting an appointment.  Signed up with the county health department and they never contacted me.  Looked online for local hospitals and pharmacies and it seems like they were always full.  Spoke with our Older Adult Ministries Director at our church and she actually signed me up.  A day or two of soreness at the general injection area, but no other reaction.

Hope you and the missus get signed up soon.  My wife is not in the first group.

At minimum wait 14d after your 1st dose. You'll have zero protection from the 1st dose this weekend.

Some of the confusion about the efficacy of the 1st dose of these vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna) was whether you counted the first 10-14d (vax group looked like placebo as far as still getting covid, b/c vax hadn't kicked in yet); versus counting from 14d on after 1st dose (where vax group did much better than placebo). and yes, there is better protection by 14d after 2nd dose compared to after 1st dose alone.

Good for you! Definitely wait 2 weeks after your second dose to go back to the gym though. I hate having to do at-home workouts and really miss being at the gym. I'm registered with my county to get vaccinated, but our county/state rollout is going slow as fuck. I'm honestly not expecting to be vaccinated (young, healthy guy not working an essential/at-risk job) until probably June at this rate.

I remember watching this film at a movie theater when I was 6 or 7, so it must have come out in '69 or '70. I just remember the old guy sitting under a cedar tree eating chicken, while it was snow, saying you want some pilgrim.

BANG BANG!

Here in Southwestern Uh-hia next week (starting on Sunday), we are expecting the most significant snowfall period we've seen since 1996. They are talking about 2 feet+ when all is said and done by late Friday of next week. Any of you folks in the State That Doesn't Suck expecting to get in on this action? I'd imagine so, but here it appears as though we're gonna be in the bullseye of this storm's heaviest path.

Anyway. My advice is to start drinking heavily.
