Fauxback uniforms to be worn against state on 2/24.
Michigan did not have a Maize uniform in 1988-89.
Previously just the retail jerseys were shown. Here is the full uniform complete with the short shorts.

See I just can't get past those shorts. The shirts are fine but those shorts need to be all yellow. The blue on the sides just kills this entire look. I said the same thing when someone made a post about the 80s jerseys a few weeks ago and I'm actually kind of disheartened that the team is wearing these against the biggest home game on the schedule.
Oh well.

No. They'll look great on the floor. Any uniform thread will have 80% of the replies whining about some part of it just for the sake of whining.
Everybody loves our maize hoops uniform. This is a better version of the '89 look. We just need to cry about it for a while.

The spacing on it is all wrong. The number is too close to the word mark, and the word mark is too high on the chest.

Awesome! These look better than the originals, primarily due to the trimmer fit of the jersey which modern synthetics allow. The shorts definitely look better with the jersey un-tucked as presented by Iggy. The side panels of the shorts are just so heavy handed with less being more when the jersey is untucked.
And frankly, not sure why anyone wants to wear longer basketball shorts anymore, just looks sad and very dated. Again, Iggy has it right, especially since they still look relaxed and unrestricted.

Really? Honestly I think that uniform, as presented, looks terrible on Iggy. I like the second pick of it on Matthews, and I think it will be a really good look for Poole and Simpson, especially. I just don't think that Iggy was the correct..... model for this uniform.

Their 1989 uni's did not come in HOME YELLOW. They were HOME WHITE.

While these are 1989 styled uniforms, we never wore them in yellow. Just dumb...go blue or go white.
