Arturo's Tacos for the best tacos I've had this side of Vegas. They also have a 7 (-ish) pound "challenge burrito" which might be fun to try.....

Fricano's for famous thin-crust pizza. Wash it down with Stroh's.

Grand Armory Brewing for another craft brewery with excellent BBQ (Dr. Rolf's on-site). Odd Side Ales of course.

Kirby Grill -- upstairs has a big deck with great views and pizza.

Toasted Pickle for good sandwiches.

Finish the night at the Tip A Few Tavern, as it should be.

Although this seems like a great opportunity for the OMG shirtless fans, UM applied for exclusive use of a portion of the beach, and the exclusivity request was denied. It doesn't appear that they've subsequently confirmed they will be making the trip.

So Grand Haven is replacing whatever the next overseas Spring trip was before Covid?  Hmmm...  I don't know, seems like a step down from there.  Probably could have visited Columbus.

It was announced earlier that the 2022 team "trip" would be a tour around Michigan.  I'm guessing that due to the challenges of international travel in 2021 it made it difficult to coordinate a massive group trip overseas for this year.
