Urban!

I hope he is truly miserable in his real life (off the camera).

Ouch. Do we really need to go there? This should be a time of loving not hating. Go pet your dog. Make love to your old lady, or your man, or whatever. Masturbate if you don't have one of those. Self-love is still loving! Plan a healthy breakfast and do a fun run tomorrow. Be good to yourself and others!
November 26th, 2022 at 9:44 PM ^
Don't knock masturbation. It's sex with someone you love!
I know you're not knocking it. Just like the phrase. :)
November 26th, 2022 at 9:31 PM ^
Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt come to mind. I usually like them but it seemed today and last year, they wanted OSU to win. I'm rewatching the game right now, and there are some real gems early on:
"Michigan has no answers for Ohio State on defense" (this one aged well...)
Klatts comment about why we deferred.
General commentary that'd make you think Michigan had no shot to win today.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
Joel Klatt is one of the biggest Michigan fanboys out there.
Your take is bad.
As far as Gus goes, would you rather have Gary Danielson calling the game?
November 26th, 2022 at 9:46 PM ^
Gus is a jackass and his love of the world famous university down south
November 26th, 2022 at 9:48 PM ^
I like Joel Klatt. I just can’t stand Gus Johnson’s catchphrases. If I have to hear “world famous buckeyes” or “score in bunches” one more time, I’ll lose my mind.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
I was not a fan of "Tommy 2 Thumbs" either.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
Gus Johnson is a Michigan fan. When he says world famous buckeyes, I assume it’s a mock.
November 27th, 2022 at 1:48 AM ^
Gus grew up in Detroit.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
Especially since he back tracked about the deferring decision at the end of half, all the sudden it was genius.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:41 PM ^
Those two are confusing characters. They are UM fans and I think they try to compensate too much to offset that perspective. Herbstreit does not have that problem when he calls or comments on OSU, generally.
November 27th, 2022 at 1:49 AM ^
Exactly
November 26th, 2022 at 9:55 PM ^
Very bad take. Klatt spends half of his time either on his own podcast or Cowherd defending/arguing for Michigan. Gus Johnson on Eisen's show just this week said he's been a lifelong Wolverine fan coming from Detroit.
OSU benefits from a general, media-wide, inflation in their appraisal. Klatt as guilty as the rest. But, being fair, leading up to last year, Michigan DID blow big games in epic ways even in the Harbaugh era. Last year was a break from that pattern; this year showed it wasn't a fluke.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:25 PM ^
Announcers saying something good about the other team does not mean they are rooting for them.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
Sorry, last year especially Gus thrived every time H2 touched the bLl
November 26th, 2022 at 11:38 PM ^
Gus Johnson is a Michigan fan for the umpteenth time
Here is the proof

I've been watching Klatt's podcast all season, it's pretty good!
I think Klatt has been more in Michigan's camp than most of the media, because he's very "who are you this year" focused.
I think he would have predicted the Buckeyes to win this one if he wasn't calling the game (he doesn't make predictions on games he calls) but he's honestly pretty damn objective about conferences and teams, imo.
The luxury of being a Colorado guy.
November 27th, 2022 at 12:13 AM ^
I agree with the sentiments in this sub-thread. Klatt likes Michigan and defends Michigan any opportunity he gets. I think he is THE best color commentator out there. Gus Johnson is a lifelong Michigan fan and for that I am thankful but I agree he can wear on you if you are on the losing end of one of the games he calls. Grateful we haven't had but one of those in the past two seasons (MSU last season).
November 27th, 2022 at 12:23 AM ^
Klatt and Johnson are the best duo on college football. Johnson is tremendous relatively speaking.

November 26th, 2022 at 11:39 PM ^
I don't think Pete has come around on Michigan but I do think he's scared. He was praising Harbaugh and the program a lot on ESPN radio Friday.
It was...weird.
November 27th, 2022 at 12:24 AM ^
He did last year too. Listening to him it’s almost like he was shitting on Harbaugh but secretly wanted him to succeed and now he is.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:32 PM ^
Heather "SEC" Dinich you say??
I will say this....during halftime of ND/SC they were showing OSUs resume and Booger says, "How can you lose to your rival by three TDs at home without their best player and still be in the playoff picture?!?!". Lol.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:43 PM ^
Right on. That is what I have been typing in every thread. They lost at home when UM did not have their top scorer and they were crushed. They don't deserve a playoff spot.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:25 PM ^
Top scorer? Moody played 😂
November 26th, 2022 at 9:50 PM ^
I agree Ohio should be out of the CFP after that.
Booger is also an LSU grad and is jockeying for position, though may not matter as they are currently down 14 to TAMU.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:05 PM ^
Georgia, Mich and TCU are practically in regardless of the championship game results. So only one spot open USC is beating ND and will clearly be above OSU if they win out
if USC loses in the pac 12 then it gets interesting
LSU is likely to lose and Clemson lost, so both are out. Bama has two losses and with Ole Miss losing again has only one halfway decent win on their resume (Texas) so they are likely out. So do you take an 11-2 USC or a 11-1 OSU?
November 26th, 2022 at 10:46 PM ^
Don’t want OSU to be there but 11-1 Michigsn would be more valid than 11-2 USC, same goes for 11-1 OSU
November 26th, 2022 at 11:47 PM ^
I don't know if TCU is automatic with a loss. I mean, I think they should be, I think the resume is maybe the best in the country, but the committee hates them because they're not a brand, and they're not from a conference they like.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:53 PM ^
So you're saying he knows how to pick 'em?
November 27th, 2022 at 12:25 AM ^
If they are we need to be number one.
