Ouch. Do we really need to go there? This should be a time of loving not hating. Go pet your dog. Make love to your old lady, or your man, or whatever. Masturbate if you don't have one of those. Self-love is still loving! Plan a healthy breakfast and do a fun run tomorrow. Be good to yourself and others!

Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt come to mind. I usually like them but it seemed today and last year, they wanted OSU to win. I'm rewatching the game right now, and there are some real gems early on:

"Michigan has no answers for Ohio State on defense" (this one aged well...)

Klatts comment about why we deferred.

General commentary that'd make you think Michigan had no shot to win today.

Very bad take. Klatt spends half of his time either on his own podcast or Cowherd defending/arguing for Michigan. Gus Johnson on Eisen's show just this week said he's been a lifelong Wolverine fan coming from Detroit.

OSU benefits from a general, media-wide, inflation in their appraisal. Klatt as guilty as the rest. But, being fair, leading up to last year, Michigan DID blow big games in epic ways even in the Harbaugh era. Last year was a break from that pattern; this year showed it wasn't a fluke.

I've been watching Klatt's podcast all season, it's pretty good!

I think Klatt has been more in Michigan's camp than most of the media, because he's very "who are you this year" focused.

I think he would have predicted the Buckeyes to win this one if he wasn't calling the game (he doesn't make predictions on games he calls) but he's honestly pretty damn objective about conferences and teams, imo.

The luxury of being a Colorado guy.

I agree with the sentiments in this sub-thread.  Klatt likes Michigan and defends Michigan any opportunity he gets.  I think he is THE best color commentator out there.  Gus Johnson is a lifelong Michigan fan and for that I am thankful but I agree he can wear on you if you are on the losing end of one of the games he calls.  Grateful we haven't had but one of those in the past two seasons (MSU last season).

Heather "SEC" Dinich you say??

I will say this....during halftime of ND/SC they were showing OSUs resume and Booger says, "How can you lose to your rival by three TDs at home without their best player and still be in the playoff picture?!?!". Lol.

Georgia, Mich and TCU are practically in regardless of the championship game results. So only one spot open  USC is beating ND and will clearly be above OSU if they win out

if USC loses in the pac 12 then it gets interesting

LSU is likely to lose and Clemson lost, so both are out. Bama has two losses and with Ole Miss losing again has only one halfway decent win on their resume (Texas) so they are likely out. So do you take an 11-2 USC or a 11-1 OSU?
