Something like moral is super low there suddenly ever since 1) the Navy loss thus effectively eliminating them from the playoffs and 2) all the real strong Herrmann to leave talk. It's clear the team is throwing in the towel on some level

I have figured out that riddle. The punchline is that Oklahoma sucks so Ohio State's win over them doesn't mean anything. So Ohio State sucks, and we are going to beat them and win it all. Nice!

Also, didn't Houston benefit hugely on turnovers last year? My theory is that a lot of luck went their way last year and while they are pretty good, they just aren't great. Regression to mean.

Overrated coach, not team. Although Houston is an overrated team. Lots of mileage off of last year and beating a mediocre Oklahoma team in the first game this year.

Checked out, I just think Houston was arrogant after the Oklahoma game and thought they could just waltz through the AAC. They could have lost 3 straight. The Herman knews obviously doesn't help but I don't think that's the major cause
