Top 100 LB Branden Jennings announcing tomorrow

Submitted by Denarded on October 15th, 2020 at 10:22 AM

#81 player in the country FL LB Branden Jennings announced today that he will be announcing his college decision tomorrow before his game. Wiltfong and Sam just put in their ballz for Michigan.

The linebacker class of Jennings, Hood and Colson would be as the kids put it 'lit'

There's a bunch of CB's for FSU at confidence level 10 though.  I've never seen a CB with a confidence level of 10 before.  Maybe they know something everyone else doesn't?

EDIT: A rundown of the CB's:

Most of the FSU CB's are from February.  Those have a confidence level of 10.  One of them is from our own Steve Lorenz, from May 21 of 2018 at a confidence level of 10.  I'm thinking they're all 10's because this was back when the confidence metric wasn't available.

Every Michigan CB came in today with varying confidence levels.  Wiltfong is a 3, Sam is a 6, and 2 FSU insiders are at 5 and 9.  Based on that I'm willing to believe Jennings is leaning Michigan, or is believed to be anyway.

Hail to the Vi…

Agreed, this kid looks like a heck of a talent. I think Mullings / Hood are the future at MLB, but could definitely see this kid moving into the "Uche-backer" SAM position, or potentially bulking up into a WDE.

His offer sheet is that of an elite talent - Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Miami ytm, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma, Texas, TAMU, Tennessee, and a bunch of other top 25 programs

It's a crowded LB room, but if you have a guy with that talent level that wants to join the fold, you take him irregardless.

I like good news like this!

If only Maizen were here to tell us that #81 isn't really good enough because he's not #17...  (This is obvious sarcasm, because Maizen was/is bad at being human.)

I'm excited for Jennings. 6'3" 225 physical athletic kid. Curious what position he ends up at but his tape is pretty impressive regardless. He's great at diagnosing plays, has elusive sideline to sideline speed due to his large strides, great at shedding blockers and a big hitter. Could see him at LB or bulk up to be a DE
