He should have been our starter to begin the year.
When Jim was hired.....I thought we hit a home run. I was wrong. He will not take us to where I want Michigan football to go.

I don’t care if D-Mac or Milton aren’t “ready” yet. The only way they become ready is with game reps. Shea is the biggest hinderance to this offense and it’s not even close. And by association it hurts the defense as well. We all know too well that Harbaugh will be a game or two too late when/if he finally makes a change.

It'll probably take us losing 35-3 at Penn State for something to happen

Don Brown is the worst 3rd down D-Coordinator in America
October 5th, 2019 at 5:53 PM ^
Great post you dumbass... considering we have led the country on third down d every year don brown has been here

Patterson is so bad. Can't read a zone defense, can't run. Put Milton in and run zone read with 15 QB runs and 15 bombs to Nico and DPJ. Fly routes, EVERY PLAY on the outside, with the occasional cross to Bell or Sainristil.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:55 PM ^
You can't blame our offense not throwing bombs on patterson...
There are literally no calls for deep shots other than the one to nico..
The play calling is awful, shea didn't magically get worse.
We changed offensive philosophy AGAIN and it's been a total trainwreck.. just like when rich rod came in and moved to a spread.

Its time to stop blaming the players

I just came here to post in the game thread wondering if I was the only one who googled "Dylan McCaffrey injury return."
Only to find there's a thread about him.

More like time to fire Gattis
October 5th, 2019 at 3:04 PM ^
Said that since the army game. Indy Pete where you at now???

Patterson’s arm is mediocre, accuracy slightly above average, mobility slightly above average, but reads and decision making starting to prove more a liability each week.
Not really sure anything with him to hang your hat on so to speak.

Its amazing that Ed Orgeron has figured out offense better than Michigan has
October 5th, 2019 at 3:16 PM ^
* Hopefully next week
October 5th, 2019 at 3:35 PM ^
Unfortunately there’s a meritocracy, so the most skilled players don’t always play.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:36 PM ^
I really wanted Patterson to work. But he reminds me of Steve Bellesari. Once Tressel found his best QB, he never looked back after Krenzel beat Michigan. It’s not happening with Shea. He may be their best option but it’s time to at least explore all options before it’s too late.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:51 PM ^
At this point you have to think it's more on the coaches than the players. I don't think a QB on the roster would make our offense look much different/better.

I wrote this BEFORE the Wisconsin game but my thread got deleted by the ignorant moderator here.

If one of the other QBs is not starting next week, I can't even blame them if they consider/actually transfer. Sessa could put up the numbers Shea did today, if not better. That is not hyperbole.
October 5th, 2019 at 6:04 PM ^
No he wouldn't you dipshit..
Sessa would be threet 2.0. Probably even worse
October 5th, 2019 at 7:58 PM ^
Name calling, wow the insecurity!
October 5th, 2019 at 5:38 PM ^
Harbaugh knows who the best QB is. Thats the one thing hes gotten right since he got here. I love DCaff and im sure he will be great. But right now Shea gives us the best chance to win
October 5th, 2019 at 6:25 PM ^
I would take pretty much any QB in the BIG over Shea. He's absolutely miserable at football
October 5th, 2019 at 6:38 PM ^
Shea has pictures of Harbaugh with a hooker. He ain’t going anywhere.
