Who is Theo Johnson?

- EDIT: 6'6" 240lb 4-star TE from Windsor, Ontario in the 2020 class.

Is he interested in Michigan? If so, generally how interested do we believe he is?

- EDIT: He appears to have some interest, although the major recruiting services generally believe he's leaning toward Penn State.

General sentiment on ability?

- EDIT: no clue. He's ranked highly so I guess good?

Not at all. Your comment reads quite dick-ish. Either you already knew the answers and were just taking the snarky route of telling the OP to put more in his post, OR you didn't know the answers and decided that instead of a quick google search to immediately find the answers (which you did anyways), you'd just ask someone else on the internet (where you currently are also) to type out the answers for you.

I also have questions about someone who has an mgoblog profile and posts but doesn't know our top-rated target for football this cycle who is from basically Detroit. It's December. If you've been on this blog at all since the spring you've seen Theo Johnson's name.

Pot calling kettle black on the comment being quite dickish.   I’ve been on this blog since spring - I’ve even seen Theo Johnson’s name - doesn’t mean I have a clue who he is.  Ues I could look him up, but expecting somebody who posts about a recruit to include info re: sport and position really doesn’t seem to be asking to much.

Little bit of an overreaction there Doc.  It really came across to me like he was just trying to relay information to people.  Aside from knowing he was a TE I didn't know anything else about him.  There are a lot of people who still just find out who the new guys are during the opener.

Come on....really?  There are dozens of recruits in multiple sports discussed around here.  We haven't had a recruiting post in months.  How are readers supposed to know all of these details?

More importantly, is it really that hard to put in the OP something like "Theo Johnson (2020 TE)" at least?

I didn’t know who this high school kid is because I don’t follow recruiting.  First thing I did was scroll down to find info on positions and Star value.  Could have be typed into the OP, but whatevs

I did appreciate the snark in the first post!  That’s the kid of stuff that makes this blog fun.

Not a fan of all the name calling and manufactured “you hurt my feelings” crap...

I’m with you on this one Doc. There’s been dozens of times I started to ask a question and then realized if I type it in the bar at the top instead of this box, I will get an immediate answer instead of having to wait for someone to reply to me.

I know who Theo is but I haven’t heard any updates lately. Would be AWESOME to land him and Stroud this weekend/Monday.

You are 100% correct, Dr. Anyone who does not know who Theo is clearly is not interested enough to warrant being upset by any omissions. If  the OP only had "TJ" or "Johnson" as the identifier the complaint would be legit. But even "Theo"  would/should be understood by most. Name another "Theo" who is in any kind of a mix here.

So has Harbaugh, amirite?!

jk jk! We had that insane summer stretch where we landed a bunch of recruits. It made that 2 weeks fun, but basically made football recruiting an afterthought. A little over a week and a half away from the early signing period though. Should heat back up for that day at least.

Actually glad to see you neg banged Spicoli...

The OP was in the wrong... who the FUCK is Theo Johnson, and why should I care? It's another attempt at 'click-bait' material. At the very least it something in the heading saying "TE" should have been posted.

But Michigan posters think they're so coy and cute with that shit! When it's actually dysfunctional and cringe worthy.

I feel like this is a recruitment where beating PSU and being competitive with OSU matters.

PSU was competitive with OSU at least with the final score and beat M.

Can’t wait to see this guy be the next great TE in Happy Valley following Gesicki and Freiermuth blah.

PSU was not competitive with OSU... not even close, game was never close.

It was basically the same game as our game except that OSU literally key dropping the ball, including Justin Fields as we was crossing the goal line.

If Michigan was gifted 3 fumbles last week, our game goes down to the wire.
