Texas AM Super recruiter and Dline coach just started following Harbaugh, Michigan Football and Osborn on Twitter. New NIL hire?

An NIL hire? That doesn't even make sense. Henson is an idiot, but that's awful.
Another person who has no idea of what NIL is or how it works.
January 8th, 2022 at 9:17 PM ^
Maybe he acts like an idiot to get attention. That seems like a much easier method these days
January 9th, 2022 at 7:19 AM ^
Except it is so common that it really isn't a differentiator.
January 8th, 2022 at 9:14 PM ^
I too, could super recruit with oil money.
That said, bring the man aboard.
January 9th, 2022 at 1:52 PM ^
You too could recruit with Michigan resources - if they'd allow what aTm does.
But so far Michigan's apparently not interested ?♂️

Henson hasn’t been right in 7 years…
The time he was right and ahead of everyone though…turned out well

The appropriate attitude with guys like this one is that they are not to be taken seriously if they offer bad news because they are quacks, but they are to be taken seriously if they offer good news because, hey, everyone gets something right.

We have seen this before. It could happen. Or it could be posturing to get more money from their current school.

If it says link, but it is not a link, is it a link?

Click on the thing in the red circle. Paste the link in the box that (wait for it) comes up.

Why is this so difficult?
January 9th, 2022 at 11:06 AM ^
Jeebus, people. At least care enough to make a headline people can read! I mean, you want to communicate, right?
EDIT: Thanks, mods!
January 8th, 2022 at 9:06 PM ^
My post was a mess. Ha. This is what happens when you only participate on the board once a year.
January 8th, 2022 at 10:48 PM ^
Type, read out loud slowly, fix errors, review, post…
January 9th, 2022 at 2:14 AM ^
In all fairness, it is difficult to post carefully while using copious amounts of cocaine.
January 9th, 2022 at 9:00 AM ^
that would make it easier to check for errors...

Cocaine is a helluva drug.

Is his name a secret? From the tweet and this post? I can only assume it's ZX
January 8th, 2022 at 9:11 PM ^
Gregg Henson?? For the love of God would that legend in his own mind just go away?
January 8th, 2022 at 9:45 PM ^
Say what you want about him but he was one of, if not the first to call JH to M back in late 2014. He's also one of the first and few to connect the importance of NIL and transfer requirements in retaining JH. He's credible.
January 8th, 2022 at 10:28 PM ^
Hi, Gregg! Or should I say 3-Gee
January 8th, 2022 at 10:30 PM ^
I will say what I want about him, and I didn’t need your permission.
January 8th, 2022 at 10:40 PM ^
Cool. Keep doing as you're told.
January 9th, 2022 at 12:06 AM ^
Neither of those things took any leaps in logic to come up with, both are obvious things to say and not make Gregggg credible.
January 9th, 2022 at 8:49 AM ^
I'm sure that he had sources telling him things. I'm also sure that those sources were speculating or flat out full of crap. Harbaugh simply doesn't make decisions about his career mid-season, and he's extremely selective about who he shares these kinds of things with.
That said, I replied to a Tweet that I didn't realize was in response to a Gergg tweet, and I stated emphatically that Bacon had the first scoop on Harbaugh. His cult jumped all over me and said that Gergg was reporting it October and the he retweeted me making the same claim. Then there was this weird series of mgoblog bashing. In other words, he knows and apparently strongly resents the fact that we have the discernment here to sense when someone's full of crap. Doesn't mean we are right all the time, of course. But I got a good laugh

O is not close to D on QWERTY keyboard. So can’t blame this clown title on a typo. D LINE coach. Not O LINE.
January 8th, 2022 at 9:06 PM ^
Can we retire the term “the twitters”?
January 8th, 2022 at 9:32 PM ^
Are you one of the types who hates the word moist, too?
January 8th, 2022 at 9:36 PM ^
My wife hates that word. This hits home.

January 8th, 2022 at 10:12 PM ^
It’s a series of tubes
January 8th, 2022 at 10:19 PM ^
If it’s passè, it’s right up my alley.
January 9th, 2022 at 11:41 AM ^
“The twitters!,” he exclaimed, as he sunk his D-line into his wife’s moist interwebs.

Elijah Robinson, the Texas A&M DL coach, recently followed Harbaugh, Ryan Osborn, and Michigan Football on twitter. Osborn is following him back.
The 247 and On3 boards have threads on it but no other news about it.
January 8th, 2022 at 10:13 PM ^
#1 recruiter in the country? Could this possibly be a new member of our staff??
January 9th, 2022 at 6:45 AM ^
Why would this guy come a place that actually has and follows rules? Wouldn't he being leaving a place where he has nothing holding him back in recruiting, and has just recruited the best D line in the country? C'mon guys this really doesn't make any sense, unless he is trying to get a raise.
January 9th, 2022 at 9:21 AM ^
Not to mention that every indication we have is that Ryan Osborne will be our DL coach. So just why in the world would the ATM DL coach, with unlimited recruiting funds and methods available to him, take a demotion to come north to a place that has limits on funding and methods?
This doesn't make any sense. My guess is that they met each other at some coaching clinic thingy or other...
January 9th, 2022 at 12:10 PM ^
A demotion??? Every indication is we are moving ahead with NIL money. UM>A&M plus he might make more money at UM. Not saying this is happening but to say coming here is a demotion is a false statement
January 9th, 2022 at 9:25 AM ^
A&M just hired Durkin as their DC. Maybe Robinson doesn't want to work for Durkin. Or maybe he felt like he should have been promoted to DC.
Robinson coached the DT's at A&M. He could come here and slide into Nua's spot and still have OZ working with the edge guys.
