Great accomplishment !  Great effort by Z, JP, and team defense.  Livers and Brooks were terrific off the bench as well.  Really feel like we have a 7 man rotation now.  Lot of good effort plays by the whole team today! Bang, bang and Go Blue!.  Hope to see some of you in Anaheim.  Will be looking for tix.

His offense was a disaster.

His defense is every bit as good as Poole and not a terrible step down from X, and has been all season. The team is statistically just as good on D with him in the game, and that’s why he kept getting the call.

Old 98/Maizen insisted that he didn’t belong in the B1G, and he could easily be third string next year here, but he’s found ways to contribute.

I am currently in Florida on vacation. I proudly wore my 2018 B1G Tourney Champs t shirt to the beach yesterday afternoon. I got a few looks and even had a woman ask me about how I thought the game was going to go. I told her Florida is a solid team but they were in for a rude awakening. A handful of hours later, I'm sure she got the picture.

Nice win today.  For some reason...wasn't feeling as confident as I normally do, but we were definitely the dominant team.  Sweet 16 will be interesting!

Go Blue!!

hard fought win by Michigan!

was a bit worried because they couldn't seem to get into a rhythm at times... Poole really came through, despite him going a little wild at times... Michigan's defense was tremendous, absolutely locked them down

Teske was great; there were a few bobbles where he should have had 6 more points imo...Livers played great too

Iggy was off, Matthews didn't score a lot but locked down florida's top guy... hoping he'll be able to bounce back next week

Few thoughts.

1. This D is special, especially when they avoid calling the ticky tack foul. Let them play a bit. We make it tough.

2. O needs to find ways to be better. I think it’s Livers. Get him the ball more. Seems like good happen.

3. Iggy was not good. Props to JB for closing with him on bench. Hopefully he got his bad one out & coaches talk to him about being prepared and ready to go next Thursday. We need him to have any shot of winning 2 next week.

4. Looks like the path could be tough: I think our region is the deepest by far. Will take 2 good maybe really good games to come out of the West.

Its also why teams that have got a lot of help in the past underachieved in the tourney. Indiana with Knight, Keady at Purdue, and old man Izzo. All struggling without their fucking crutch. Sorry I just reviewed free throws attempted all year and its a shit show. Our PSU, MSU x2, and the second half MSU are all extreme outliers to our usually foul numbers.

If Michigan plays D like they did in the second half, they won't lose. That was a masterpiece. Crushing, smothering defense.

That said, we're gonna face better offenses before this thing is over, so you're right, we need to find some scoring.

I love Livers too, but he started out ice cold today. Came on at the end, and we definitely need his stroke. Really, this team needs everyone, because no one is consistently great shooting the ball.

You're right about our competition - both FSU and Gonzaga look really good today, and both TT and Buffalo are good. No matter who we face, it's gonna take our best to win. I'm just happy we have the opportunity!

Great defensive performance and the offense was effective at points. Very sweet to make it back to back to back Sweet 16 appearances. Tough road from here including the Florida game but it’s all about survive and advance at this point.

Go Blue.

When Beilein got us to our first NCAA tourney in forever back in 2009, I was ecstatic just to be back in the big dance. I never would have imagined 5 Sweet Sixteens in 7 years. Don't take any of this for granted. Enjoy it all. Great job by a great man. Thanks JB!!

Gonna have happy dreams of Michigan's D flat embarrassing Florida.

They looked like a bunch of rec leaguers against us at the end.

Go Blue! Keep the madness rolling!
