Spygate Update from Hole
Posted another video. https://youtu.be/WsMPt1CyQno?si=XNLWz7lgksZ_5LdK
Here are the highlights if you don't want to listen to the 30 minute video.
Isaiah knows who the leaker is. The person who is the whistle blower/leaker is someone some of us may know but most fans won't know about him.
Confirms Matt Weiss thing is definitely 100% unrelated. It is bad but it's not as bad as child porn or anything like that.
Confirms Michigan did not ever use or see OSU practice footage per source inside Schembechler Hall. It's completely false. Doesn't mean Weiss didn't hack the footage and have it on his computer (he doesn't know) but it was never disseminated to the rest of the team or used or seen by any coaches.
He would bet his money Stapleton has something to do with all of this, but can't confirm. He's not focused on that part of the investigation. Stapleton isn't that close to the football team and isn't the leaker though.
This thing is an orchestrated political hit job /psy-op. Expected 2 more bad news things to drop soon or at some point.
His sources are very very good, but can't tell us everything due to not wanting to burn his sources and get them in trouble during an active investigation. WaPo piece is important and is what to focus on. Insinuates they're probably working with OSU people. There's a connection there. Calls it a Michigan fan fever dream
Focus on who hired the private investigation firm and who is paying them. Piece together the motives. WaPo reported that the investigation firm had a document from Michigan that no one currently at Michigan handed over.

Gotta agree. It's likely both that he wants clicks and has info, but why would his source not out the leaker anonymously ASAP or or why wouldn't he?
October 27th, 2023 at 10:55 PM ^
No. That's just not how journalism works in instances such as this. The source wants to stay confidential. Giving the information he has to the public can lead to his source being outed. It's really that simple.

I’m inclined to agree. Watched one of his videos and he gives off a grifter vibe. I guess time may sort of kind of vindicate him, but not much since his predictions seem to be not all that specific.

A fever dream is usually bad right? So like this whole situation is a fever dream for Michigan fans.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:41 PM ^
A fever dream is a crazy and stressful nightmare.
I think he's saying it will get worse for us?
October 27th, 2023 at 9:55 PM ^
That it will be too crazy to believe is the vibe I got.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:56 PM ^
I've seen this theorized in a few places, and Sam Webb was the first one to put it out there: The WaPo reporter (Will Hobson) said somewhere that the story basically dropped into his lap. He studied at Boston College (where he worked for the student newspaper) from 2002-06. Guess which current Big Ten coach just happened to be a graduate assistant at BC from 2003-04. Either it is an amazing coincidence or something smells rotten in Denmark.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:06 PM ^
Ole Black Dye Beard himself?
October 27th, 2023 at 10:32 PM ^
Another Boston connection: Pete Thamel.
Check out the puff pieces Thamel did--basically a PR man for Day for Yahoo sports about 2019.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:35 PM ^
And right when Harbaugh is about to sign an extension. Wow.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
I look forward to never thinking about this ever again. And by this, I mean Ryan Day. I can’t wait to watch him cry real tears.
October 27th, 2023 at 11:32 PM ^
What’s going to be great is watching him lose his last game as HC of OSU
October 27th, 2023 at 9:17 PM ^
Did he address the mgoblog alleged insiders rumor about Harbaugh and the assistants no showing the NCAA yesterday when they were expected to be questioned?
October 27th, 2023 at 9:20 PM ^
Nope. Nothing on that.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:22 PM ^
No. But he did read the entire thread posted about him here last night. Seemed to take our skepticism somewhat personally.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:11 PM ^
If he's reading this: Love you dude, but if you are required to fill 30 minutes of airtime, don't try to do it with 15 minutes of content. Have a second 15 minute segment of another topic if you need to.
But in fairness, his content has been very good and worth the extra time sticking around to listen to it so far.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:20 PM ^
He’s taking it personally because he’s been called out for saying a lot without saying anything. All he does is say basically “I’m gonna blow the lid off things, I’ve got the real story — but I can’t tell you and you just have to believe me.” He chasing clicks.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:19 PM ^
Can't wait for GameDay's sober, even handed analysis tomorrow morning!
October 27th, 2023 at 9:22 PM ^
I may not even watch college football tomorrow, honestly.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:26 PM ^
Tbh the schedule is mostly terrible this week. Good week to avoid.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:38 PM ^
I planned on it being a quiet day getting things done around the house/yard anyway.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:51 PM ^
Nothing would make me happier than OSU being so distracted all week that they go and lay a total egg up in Madison.
I know it won’t happen but a guy can dream.
October 27th, 2023 at 11:43 PM ^
NO, No, No!
I'd much rather beat Ohio State when they come in to Ann Arbor unbeaten.
October 28th, 2023 at 12:32 AM ^
On the bright side, a second loss would make it impossible for them to back door their way into the playoffs, yet again.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:46 PM ^
At least tune in a little to see if Minnesota can crush MSU.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:46 PM ^
I wish I could take tomorrow off, but Stalions scheduled me to snag some signs at the Tennessee/Kentucky game.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:49 PM ^
So that we can give the signs to South Carolina per the CFBNerds conspiracy theory.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:54 PM ^
They know it’s in our best interest to cause some key season ending injuries
October 27th, 2023 at 10:05 PM ^
I'm still trying to understand how us stealing signs would cause a player to suffer a non-contact ACL injury.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:08 PM ^
Clearly your third eye isn’t open as wide as the College Football Nerds.
There is such an OBVIOUS connection to his non contact ACL tear and Stallion’s gifting of signs to South Carolina

I heard you can leave halfway through and still get paid.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:43 PM ^
I'm doing some advance work on FSU down here in Tallahassee, so you'll have to count me out. I have figured out that after he flirts with the second cheerleader from the left, Jordan Travis always sails his next several throws.

Wife Day!
October 27th, 2023 at 9:27 PM ^
Prefer Fox. ESPN GameDay is trash. Especially now, anything to avoid Thamel's garbage yellow journalism.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:22 PM ^
This guy wants real journalism at…Fox. Good lord.
October 27th, 2023 at 11:15 PM ^
LOL. "This guy" is so intuitive.
What part of my preference to Fox over ESPN does it equate "real journalism" to Fox?
Fox>>>ESPN and "Thamel's garbage yellow journalism" can both be true, without any implication to FOX= real journalism. Capiche, tough guy.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:46 PM ^
If we're preferring Fox for anything we've reached a pretty pass.
October 28th, 2023 at 1:01 AM ^
Between Thamel and McAfee on Gameday and Meyer on Fox, I'd say we are due for a third option.
October 28th, 2023 at 1:41 AM ^
I think CBS Sports Network (if you got it) has a Saturday morning show.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:22 PM ^
Wow, Ryan Day and the entire OSU program really is bitchmade.
Imagine hiring a PI firm and running an entire PR firm hit job because your'e so weak, so unhinged that 2 losses to your rival cause you to fully decompensate.
Born on 3rd is in for a huge beating and final nail in the coffin this November.
Soft bitch
October 27th, 2023 at 9:31 PM ^
I would looooove to be within earshot of the Harbaugh/Day postgame handshake, should Michigan be able to to win The Game. Is Harbaugh going to:
1) Pull a Tom Crean “you tried to wreck our program!”
2) Pull a RichRod / Danny Hope confrontation where after Michigan lost to Purdue, Hope pulls the player he believes RichRod got suspended into the postgame handshake and says “I’d like you to meet the kid who’s reputation you ruined.”
3) Pull a Michael Corleone, kiss Day on the lips and yell for all the college football world to hear “I know it was you, third base, and you broke my heart.”
October 27th, 2023 at 9:44 PM ^
My kingdom for what's behind door #3
October 27th, 2023 at 9:44 PM ^
#3 would be the most epic power move in all of sports history.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:08 PM ^
Yes I agree but it would get turned against Harbaugh and say it was sexual assault.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:54 PM ^
Harbaugh giving Day a wedgie on live TV and then stuffing him into a locker would be the epic sports history power move, but some dreams aren't made to come true.
October 27th, 2023 at 9:52 PM ^
Are we really not going to include a heavy handed hearty back slap or a “what’s your deal” into the list of options?
October 27th, 2023 at 10:08 PM ^
He could pull a Harbaugh and lift up his shirt, slap Day on the back, and jog off.
Edit: Oh, already noted above. But "What's your deal" is generally directed at Harbaugh.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:19 PM ^
this is my favorite weird Harbaugh thing
October 27th, 2023 at 11:03 PM ^
As Day turns away, I want him to run back up and give him a massive wedgie.
