Sparty went into OT at home against Rutgers last night

and neither Bridges nor Langford scored in the first half.

Indeed, we have a chance.

MSU looks very beatable! I'm sure their effort will be 100 times what it was Wednesday night against Rutgers. I feel if Michigan can hit some 3's, play solid D and make their free throws then they got a great chance to shock the BIG and the world!

We would have smoked sparty last night. Twice has Rutgers run with them and osu absolutely humiliated them. Unfortunately, we’ll now get the fired up version of sparty with a rampaging coach running the show.

Sparty Doesn't Know

for the good guys.  Big motivation to beat MSU after a screw job by the refs.  Hopefully JB has the boys fired up!

I thought this was the right thread to come out of lifelong (of the blog, anyway) lurker status and post with my Eurotrip-inspired user name.  I look forward to being accused of being a troll or WD.

Just bracing myself for Sparty to shoot 80% (yes, exaggerated) from the field, get all the rebounds, and get all the calls, while M hangs around and loses in typically excruciating fashion. Sure hope I am wrong.

Saturday will be a great game. Both teams will be fired up and expect a lot from Livers.
If Michigan plays there game, I expect a close game. However, if Robinson stays in too long, could be a rout.

Hahahahahahahahahaha It’s not your fault. Every time you create a new account I’m going to find it. You might as well not come back. Here’s another strategy: When you are banned and create your new account 5 minutes later, I would suggest you wait a few months before posting on that account, so it wouldn’t be so easy to find you.

I'll make a deal. You keep surveying me like you're in the CIA. If after a week you think I'm a troll, I'll delete my account myself and will not come back? I'll continue donating money to this blog as well as Ace's fundraiser. I just will go back to being a reader of the blog and nothing else.
Let's focus on Michigan for awhile and not the illusion you're a member of the mgoblog police force. Does that sound fair to you?

never particularly understood that scene.  Unless it was just a Hail Mary, there was really no indication that Will thought he was at fault for the abuse.  If he did think this, then the disclosures necessary to come to that conclusion were off-screen, because that is not how he presented at all during the therapy that was shown.  It was a moving scene, without context, but it did not seem like it was in the right movie.

Good scene, but would have been excellent had there been clear context. I watched the movie for the 2nd time last year, and seeing Robin Williams in that scene was pretty emotional. I often forget how great an actor he was.

I assumed it was based off the notion many victims in general have some sort of internal guilt and blame upon themselves for how things went down regarding the abuse the faced (no matter what type of abuse).

Anyone who has watched a smidgen of college basketball knows that this means nothing. Or everything. Or a little something. In other words, discussing it is a waste of words.

Hmmm . . . .people insisted that the timeout Izzo called with 40 seconds left in the OSU blowout was great coaching that would "ensure no letdown in the next game."

Nah, it was just him being a control freak.

Makes me even more nervous that our game against Sparty this weekend will be one of those games where the "proverbial light" just turns on for them and we lose a game that isn't a blowout, but really isn't all that close.

After a huge emotional letdown on Tuesday where the refs pretty much decided the game for Michigan, it will be interesting to see how they come out.

As I stated before, you have to get one of MSU’s frontline players in foul trouble. Get Goins in the game and playing heavy minutes and we will have a real good shot to win. If he doesn’t, MSU will be too big and long especially if Duncan gets a healthy share of the PT at PF. My prediction: Jordan Poole announces his arrival to the nation as a bonafide baller! UM 67 MSU 62

Yes, you're trolling.

You cry every single time there's a post you disagree with -- regardless of content or not.

It's all about "you" and your "opinion"... which is contrary to the notion of a message board.

And for an account that's only been here 3 days, who appointed you forum cleanup hall pass monitor?
