Moss was the first to report the 5 years, $10 million deal that is widely accepted now. Why exactly do people think he knows nothing? Because this news item is unpleasant?

She also didn't say she was leaving. So Moss is incorrect - she said exactly that. If Moss is saying it's done and that Yaklich is leaving, he's wrong. When he posted that to Twitter, he was wrong. It doesn't matter if that's what eventually happens. I could say Per Sources: it's going to rain next week. If I get it right, I didn't retroactively break news.

And he "broke" the 5 year/$10 million part the same time as the rest of the world who were all reading from the same Michigan press release.

Are you Jeff Moss? My sources are saying you are. Please credit.

He said Yaklich is leaving. Yaklich's wife contradicts him. The jerk then doesn't defer but stands by his anonymous source who apparently knows more that Yaklich's wife. She is VERY clear that the decision has not been made. Period.

So, what are you trying to defend and why? Any moron can say that Yaklich might stay or he might leave. Any decent person would defer to the Yaklich family in this time.

Also because there is now a big business of people “breaking” stories by guessing at 50/50 decisions and hiding behind “sources” just to say they “broke” it. Not saying he was wrong about the contract but it’s now very easy to say “you heard it here first, the coin is going to be heads” because there’s no penalty for being wrong and there’s a low veracity bar to clear to be right. It’s also possible for someone to be very right about one story and very wrong about another if they are comfortable taking risks as a journalist or whatever title internet media people have. He was very clearly wrong about this one

Did you actually read what you wrote?  After you hit save did you want to undo it?  It’s like you didn’t even read the tweet that Mr. Moss responded to.  Just because you answer one question right on a spelling test won’t give you a an A!  You’ve still failed your test because you misspelled the next nine spelling words on your second grade rote words!

His son will be a JR next year at Saline I believe.  My guess is he will want to finished school at Saline.

Hope he stays.

Lmao at "pw3ns"

This is such a weird move to challenge a family member directly about his sources, when she is directly saying no decision has been made

All that being said, as stated in the beginning, I think he will leave. Strictly because of Juwan coming in and not a guy with a vastly better resume than Yak's. Sometimes it's just best for the parties involved to move on to avoid any sort of resemtment or animosity (not saying Yak would, but he is still a human, and it's naturally to not be happy about losing out on a job). I mean Yak's wife already had questionable Twitter activity and Instagram posts after Juwan got the job, so there clearly is some sort of disappointment with the search

You're claiming Mrs Yak had "questionable Twitter activity and Instagram posts after Juwan got the job".  I'm seeing nothing of the sort on the twits; I don't do Instagram but if you're making such a claim please back it up with linked evidence.

While I suppose one could interpret those as *possibly* a "bad look",  I especially personally disagree with that assessment on Mrs. Yak liking the "Coaching Search" 1 1/2 minute video  ( she "liked" it but as far as I know didn't forward it) .  I "liked" it too, it was hilarious .  Quite possibly she enjoyed the humor in it so much and decided to hit the like button, too.

What I am seeing in her Twitter feed, though, are a large number of liked tweets and also some RE-TWEETS of congratulatory and other positive tweets in the aftermath of the selection of Juwan Howard  The overall tone of her account shows me absolutely no detectable bitterness on her part, though.

Yeah, that all happened quite a bit AFTER people were talking about her Twitter and Instagram activity. Well after. And liking a tweet that is overtly criticising the way a candidate search was handled (for a job that your husband interviewed for) is probably not just for laughs. How you can look at that activity, which occurred directly after Howard got the job, as anything but a negative is naive.

We'll see. I am not counting on it. And honestly, I don't think we need him. I am not undervaluing Yak, but I think Howard can do very well with his defensive implementations and suffice.

You're trying too hard to find negative, which is always easier to see than positive.  Sure, she's upset her husband didn't get the top job - probably feels bad that her husband was passed over.  And that's an entirely fair position!  She shouldn't be happy about it!  But, at the same time, she probably has a little relief the decision is over and her husband is still wanted by the school, the fanbase, and the community.  How could she not feel pride about that?

She's a person, she's allowed to have emotions, she's allowed to 'like' things on social media.  Stop trying to create some grand master intentions based on her public social media account.

He may leave.  He may also decide that it makes more sense to stick around for another year or two, with the clear expectation being that he will interview for head coaching jobs that may come available.

Not only is it easier to move once your kids are in college, Texas does not look like a fantastic landing spot right now.  There's a good chance that, if he goes, next summer he's looking for a new job anyway.

It's not like he's being asked to commit to spending 10 years of his life working as Howard's right-hand man.  If Juwan thinks he's a good fit for what he wants to do, it'd be silly for Yaklich to turn him down in a fit of pique.

Isn’t this detroitsportsrag the outfit that reported Manuel was low balling Howard, and he was upset about an hour or two before he was signed?  Zero credibility.
