The expression is “different sides of the aisle,” but “different sides of the isle” could work as well since Michigan consists of 2 peninsulas.
This is one of those malapropisms I find amusing, like “collect the low hanging food” instead of low hanging fruit.
I know someone who attended the 2020 Presidential debate. That was also cool, until they found out they were exposed to covid by one candidate’s supporters. (I mean, if we are going to skirt political issues, why not go full 2020-level insanity?)

Bo Harbaugh

Harbaugh has strong beliefs and opinions like many of us.

He was comfortable standing his ground and being public with them, but was never judgmental or sanctimonious with his views.

He's also open minded and listens to others (see Colin Kaepernick situation) and doesn't jump to conclusions.

Would be great if we could all be a bit less political with our views and more open to other opinions before demonizing those we disagree with.

Most things should be up for public discourse and debate without political shit flinging...except of course that OSU sucks balls and Ryan Day is a pussy - This is a universal truth that all should accept.

Exactly, if I agreed or disagreed with JH's stance on Life/Choice, it didnt matter. I support his right to decide what he believes and I support Moore's. It's become stupid the way people react to either side and it's something a lot of people in public eye stay away from these days because of it.

My grandmother told me that not so long ago there were three things you didn't discuss with friends or associates, religion, politics and income. Thanks to a few "news" sources and social media, that's changed, sadly.

Great honor for him to get to attend in person.

I'm also sorry that he'll have to see first-hand what the current state of American politics have evolved (devolved?) into.

I feel much better about this than watching the camera pan over to Saban as ____'s guest (please God, not Tommy Tuberville).

Always curious to see where/when these types of threads go South. Got through quite a few comments to get to that point. Blog seems to be mellowing out and more civil about politics last few months.

I don’t even mind political comments of either side if well thought out and not slamming someone but this adds nothing to the conversation.

There better not be any potential recruits in attendance.  NCAA will bring the hammer.

Kidding.  Good for him.  Why wouldn't ya invite THE Champion HC who's win% is 1.000

I thought the people who looted and ransacked the Capitol building using clubs and fire extinguishers to beat the Capitol police, threaten congresspeople, and destroy property was some pretty unAmerican anger but what do I know.
