It'd be great to see Shea have a similar story. He was underwhelming at Michigan, but I hate all of the people bagging on former players.

I am sure Rob was making a joke, but keep in mind that his OC called Shea out for putting in too much time on the links vs. on the football field in the offseason. Who knows, if he had, he may have been more successful for us and helped his football career to boot. College kids don't always make the best decisions.
I get that, but rather than wishing him well and hoping he does well with another team - he chose to shit on him - years after said OC called out Shea.

I don't care where, when, or who he played for, he was a bust this year. I have seen every Panther game this season, Very good D, good RB's and weapons @ WR. With a serviceable QB (and Paxton wasn't it either) they likely were a playoff team IMO. When Shea was on he was good, then came the inevitable fumbles and INT's doomed those chances at winnable games at winnable times.

They should have cut Fisher for his playcalling behind that high school level offensive line. Shea’s scrambling ability is the only reason he isn’t dead. You are right - the team is mostly solid but Fisher’s decisions probably cost them two wins. I know Shea is low hanging fruit around here but he was the least of their issues.
Yeah, there's a reason that Mr. 7-9 is coaching in a fledgling league and not the real thing.
