I was all on board with the FSU got screwed train, but they've jumped on the "Michigan is cheaters, they shouldn't have been in anyways" so...fuck 'em.

Michigan Cheated - the final bastion for losers. Just Win Out.

Yeah, that was not difficult to see coming. And Norvell was talking trash about it back in October. FSU can kick rocks.
December 5th, 2023 at 12:11 PM ^
This is a direct result of administration prostrating themselves to the B1G.
December 5th, 2023 at 12:12 PM ^
What is the direct result of that?
December 5th, 2023 at 12:20 PM ^
By "prostrating" you mean Ono refusing to suspend Harbaugh on his own and the university filing for a TRO in the courts?
December 5th, 2023 at 12:24 PM ^
Nah, that's sparty and OSU goons shit posting on their forums. They openly say they try to do it on their boards.
December 5th, 2023 at 12:36 PM ^
Yep. This was reposted on Facebook this morning, from an FSU fan page, by a friend. They are correctly identifying the issue. Bitter loser OSU and MSU fans are trying to get them to switch to blaming Michigan and may succeed to some degree, but 95% of what I've seen on social media from FSU fans since Sunday afternoon has been bitching about the SEC's reach into the Committee and Saban's polticking, not Michigan.

Sorry, I tried do this the right way with the hyperlink button, not just copying and pasting, but it did that anyway.
December 5th, 2023 at 1:31 PM ^
I'll admit it - I was only sticking up for FSU so that we could kick the shit out of them and their QB3.
December 5th, 2023 at 11:40 AM ^
why does this stupid shit get posted here so regularly
December 5th, 2023 at 11:45 AM ^
Agreed. It's rarely funny - OP every time has to point out, "the one thing that's funny" in a 5-minute video.
December 5th, 2023 at 11:51 AM ^
Matt Mitchell is always funny. Anyone not laughing is telling on themselves.
December 5th, 2023 at 11:58 AM ^
true, if "telling on yourself" means "having a sense of humor"

Stay gold, Ponyboy.

Wolverines!

He's funnier than SEC Shorts, but that's a low bar. Dude is outstandingly mediocre.
December 5th, 2023 at 11:54 AM ^
I though it was fun.
Wouldn't mind if there were some Big Ten "shorts". Lots to scoff, er, talk about.

I don't know how it took me until just now having watched that to realize that if Florida state does beat Georgia, then in the minds of many, they really do have a legit claim to a split national championship. And that sucks for the national champion, which is probably us. None of the other crap that people have said put some actual asterisk on anything. But the CFP might just have allowed FSU to be this year's '97 Nebraska.
Edit: added "in the minds of many" to clarify. I don't think '97 Nebraska was legit at all. I still hate Frost, Nebraska, and everything about them on account of it.
December 5th, 2023 at 12:13 PM ^
No they don't. They will not be ranked #1 in any poll. Nobody on Georgia is going to play.
And they can claim it all they want but nobody is going to care.
December 5th, 2023 at 12:37 PM ^
It'll be just like UCF's "national championship" that no one acknowledges or cares about.
December 5th, 2023 at 1:09 PM ^
Except that FSU's following is more like Nebraska's and they're likely to have some media and coach complicity if they pull it off.
December 5th, 2023 at 1:07 PM ^
I agree that it would be illegitimate and a media farce.
Do you not think the same about 1997 Nebraska?
I don't think of that as a split championship at all. It disgusts me that there are thousands and maybe millions that do.
December 5th, 2023 at 1:18 PM ^
I don't think the same about Nebraska. Had Michigan's win over WSU been more convincing I would have. Nebraska had a claim after they took Tennessee behind the shed.
December 5th, 2023 at 1:40 PM ^
Even if so --btw, good luck to them beating even a hamstrung Georgia-- would it be a bigger asterisk in the public eye than M winning a natty in an SEC-less playoff field? Doubt it.
December 5th, 2023 at 2:17 PM ^
They can claim whatever they want. If we win the playoff we win the Natty. If FSU wants to play pretend, I hope they enjoy their nap and snacktime at day care afterwards.

UCF BS all over again
December 5th, 2023 at 12:22 PM ^
So Alabama got the biggest competitive advantage of all against all previous rules and precedent (Cardale Jones says Hi).
I await the thorough investigation Paul Finebaum will obsessively demand and immediate summary judgment disqualification of Nic and the Cheaters.

It's like real court, but realier.
