My hopes for this season - 10
My PTSD flashbacks to the ND game - 31
September 6th, 2018 at 1:10 PM ^
We score over 40 points. Easy.
Lets go with 42-7
September 6th, 2018 at 1:15 PM ^
42 doesn't seem like we easily scored over 40.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:19 PM ^
as in it will look effortless to score 40+. Bunch of RB runs, a couple of Shea long bombs etc.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:57 PM ^
What was your prediction for the ND game ?? Was it another “easy” thing ?
September 6th, 2018 at 2:02 PM ^
Nope. I had ND as a loss actually. Infact I posted that I don't have a great feeling for that game. It played out like that. People think ND is nothing..uhh..they were really good last year and got unlucky to be beaten by Georgia.
We played bad but it felt like Utah 2015 to me. We will gel.
I have M beating MSU and OSU as toss up at the moment.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:11 PM ^
45 - 13 M
September 6th, 2018 at 1:11 PM ^
Michigan will put up a lot of points, but I think give up some big plays. If I'm an OC against Don Brown, the answer is to bomb it and pray it works out.
42-17
September 6th, 2018 at 2:03 PM ^
I agree with bombing it against Don Brown, but your QB has to stand in the pocket longer. If I'm WMU and get behind quickly, I'm protecting my QB for conference season and just having him hit quick hitters all game.
September 6th, 2018 at 7:33 PM ^
You're right. Don's defenses at Michigan were built to stop the JT barett offense and it worked pretty damn well. Unfortunately, OSU now has the best passing QB in the B1G (possibly the country, we'll see). Doesn't bode well.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:15 PM ^
38-13 Michigan
September 6th, 2018 at 1:17 PM ^
55-10
Michigan comes out with a huge chip on their shoulder. The offense comes out firing and builds momentum for the rest of the season.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:20 PM ^
33-13.
Offense looks better but struggles a bit finishing drives in the red zone.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:21 PM ^
M 51-11
September 6th, 2018 at 1:23 PM ^
How many days has it been since Michigan football has won a game?
I'll settle for a win. Any score.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:31 PM ^
299 days and counting... yea any win would be nice.
September 6th, 2018 at 4:49 PM ^
And 306 since we won at home, where we have a 1-game losing streak.
September 6th, 2018 at 8:24 PM ^
So close! I was gonna say 300 even!
September 7th, 2018 at 6:21 PM ^
You should have waited 4 hours
September 6th, 2018 at 1:26 PM ^
38-7, Michigan gets the W.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:27 PM ^
I agree with your 34-10. I was thinking that before I clicked on the link, not that it matters.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:30 PM ^
UM wins 35-13
September 6th, 2018 at 1:31 PM ^
M19 - WMU14
I don't think this team scores over 30, and if they do, Western will score more to keep it close.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:33 PM ^
35-13
i can see a close first half that opens up in the second half. People will see moments of brilliance and moments of “WTF?!”
At the end of the game, we will all still be wondering how good the team can / could be because we are playing WMU.
September 6th, 2018 at 3:37 PM ^
I agree with your last statement.
If the offense struggles to score points in this game, then it's probably a harbinger of things to come for the rest of the season.
But even if we win big and score a lot, we still won't really know if it's a result of improvements or just because Western is that bad..I mean they gave up 55 to Syracuse for goodness sake. I don't think we'll get an accurate assessment of this team again until either the Nebraska or the Northwestern game.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:34 PM ^
I just want a wide receiver to score!!!!!!!
September 6th, 2018 at 1:34 PM ^
Michigan in a blowout: Eleventy-seven to Threeve.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:34 PM ^
Going to be a big day for Shea. Need to practice that red zone passing. SP is 23-35, 375 yards and 4TDs. Higdon carries 15 times for 125 yards. Mason gets in the action this week with a TD rushing and a TD passing (cleaning up for Higdon's solid efforts). Collins has a big-play day with 7 catches and 2 TDs. Evans makes guys miss in route to a 50 yard YAC TD gem. Quinn kicks a 59 yarder for the student section (yes, it would have been good from 70). DPJ takes a punt to the house in the 4th quarter to the squeals of many a co-ed. WMU scores 17 late points against all those frosh on the field.
UM 45 WMU 17
Go Blue !!!

38-21.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:37 PM ^
42 - 0 Non-Directional Michigan
September 7th, 2018 at 12:49 PM ^
If Non-Directional Michigan (meaning Michigan of course) loses 42-0 I will eat a lemon. . .
after it has passed through my digestive system.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:38 PM ^
48-10 UM
September 6th, 2018 at 1:39 PM ^
I think we score quickly to start off with but the score stays relatively close (probably within 10-14) at halftime, and this place will be melting down. Some points will left off the board while the tackle positions still show some issues.
Second half shows Michigan gradually build on the lead. My guess will be 42-14. I just want to see Shea be able to operate with a clean pocket and have time to go through his reads. He (and the whole offense) need a game like this to get things settled.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:40 PM ^
Well Michigan is the champions of the west.
51-6
September 6th, 2018 at 1:40 PM ^
Michigan 20
Western 14
Western has the ball driving to win the game late in the 4th but turns it over with less than 1.5 minutes left to seal the W.
September 6th, 2018 at 4:56 PM ^
The Dantonio gameplan
September 6th, 2018 at 1:43 PM ^
Michigan is up 21-7 at the half.
Some bad play in the 3rd quarter and the score is 21-17 with the crowd booing.
Michigan puts it away in the 4th.
35-17
September 6th, 2018 at 1:43 PM ^
21-10 Michigan. Would like to see the Offensive line do better. The play calling to improve. The Defense to contain the edge...
Ambry Thomas has kickoff return and one punt return for TD's. He also throw's the ball deep, runs underneath and catches it for the touchdown in the fourth.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:48 PM ^
34-20 Michigan. Run game will get it done but Shea will still be pressured. Defense gives up a couple big plays.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:49 PM ^
30-10 Michigan.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:50 PM ^
31-17.
Wish i could see the offense score more but i don't see it happening.
Games with 40+ points...
2015: 3
2016: 7
2017: 0
September 6th, 2018 at 1:51 PM ^
In typical fashion everyone overreacts to one game of information about the team and posts gloom and doom about the next game. Western has a truly awful defense that got lit up by Cuse for 34 points in the first half. Michigan 55- Western 7. Higdon and Evans both crack 100 on the ground. Patterson adds a long rushing td of his own.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:51 PM ^
1-0 Michigan bet on it
September 6th, 2018 at 1:54 PM ^
Michigan wins easy, never in doubt.
52 - 3
September 6th, 2018 at 1:55 PM ^
31-13.
Offensive line struggles again, raising alarm level from 7.5 to 9.5. Even the optimistic bunch will seek room alongside me in my bomb shelter. We will console one another the rest of the year and hope senselessly that those three posters who keep saying, “but it’s only one or two mistakes. Once they correct those, we’ll be fine,” are right. Though we know they are Sisyphusian fools who will be crushed yet again and die an ignominious death.
September 6th, 2018 at 1:56 PM ^
40 to 7....
3 FGs
4 TDs, 2 rushing and 2 passing
The touchdown is a result of the offense putting the defense in a bad spot. The offensive line will look fake competent.

38-13 Meatchicken Skunkbears
