Sam Webb CB Xavier Worthy

Sam Webb just put in a crystal ball for Xavier Worthy to Michigan at a confidence level of 7.  Flipped it off Oregon.  Happy 4th boys.

This would be a huge recruiting win. Seemed like he was 100 percent to Oregon a couple weeks ago, though we may have gotten lucky because Oregon is in on a ton of highly rated receivers. Worthy is a future star.

I said something similar to this, regarding Worthy hopefully seeing their WR room getting full with their current commits etc. and it wasn’t well received. He has the opportunity to go to Oregon and be the #3 or #4 WR in their class, or he can come to UM and be the top WR in our class.

I read this incorrectly and thought a cornerback was coming.

Im still excited about this but also still looking for some guys who can cover.

Nope. Other way around. Worthy delaying his commitment because of renewed interest in Michigan is the cause, Oregon pushing for Brevard after Worthy having serious interest in Michigan again is effect. Worthy had like 15/15 crystal balls on Oregon when he was originally planning on announcing 2 weeks ago

I definitely think we are the strong leader for Edwards. But Worthy?

This is HUGE news.

McCarthy, Edwards, Henning, Worthy, Wilson, and Brown and Morris next year. SPEED FOR DAYS.

Not to mention a guy like Jackson as a senior or a Eamonn Dennis (who's a CB right now).

Plus some bigger targets on the outside.

Do it. The DeSean Jackson comparison is legit.

He can fly. He's a natural slot. There are at least 4 highlights where they throw him a screen or swing pass and he almost just stands there, baiting the DBs before he makes a ridiculous move and takes off downfield.

He returns kicks.

IF we get elite QB play, we could finally have a truly explosive passing offense. I pray we can get OSU this year, calm everyone down and buy Harbaugh and Gattis enough time for these guys to mature in this system.

It could be exciting to watch Michigan offense again, haven't had that since Denard. The D has been a lot of fun to watch minus 5-6 terrible games. If Gattis gets this thing rolling...look out.

I don't know what it's like for Michigan to have a WR core comprised of elite athletes with burner speed AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HANDS
