Only DGW is recognizable to me
December 18th, 2019 at 1:27 PM ^
Van Fillinger is one to keep an eye on....claimed Michigan as his dream offer when he was offered. Followed Michigan coaches and a few defensive linemen on Twitter last night(Winovich, Gary). Would be a huge get:

Appreciate the help, thank you!
December 18th, 2019 at 1:33 PM ^
He needs a first name. Ludwig?
December 18th, 2019 at 2:20 PM ^
Its Van.
Like what you live in by a river.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:43 PM ^
Does he have a mullet? Do. Want.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:30 PM ^
DGW - 4-star CB
Villari - 3-star QB
Fillinger - 4-star SDE
Jacobs - 3-star RB
Pogorlec - 3-star OL
December 18th, 2019 at 1:32 PM ^
Thank you for the input! Appreciate the quick breakdown!
December 18th, 2019 at 2:29 PM ^
All the 3* are belong to us
December 18th, 2019 at 1:27 PM ^
Villari was just officially offered per his Twitter.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:32 PM ^
Makes sense, since Stroud decided to go in a bad direction. I'm sure his NLI will come rolling in shortly... He's not going to pass up this opportunity for UMass!
December 18th, 2019 at 1:40 PM ^
Come on, what's wrong with UMass?????? So they were 1 -11 and crushed repeatedly. QB makes Doug Flutie look like Hulk Hogan. Great reputation as a party school!!!! Although I'm not sure how the co-eds like the "minuteman" moniker!!
December 18th, 2019 at 1:42 PM ^
My wife told me that's where I should have went.
December 18th, 2019 at 3:20 PM ^
Try some reverse kegels for a few weeks.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:49 PM ^
Gray shirt or no?
December 18th, 2019 at 1:33 PM ^
Villari will commit before the signing period is over. DGW may secretly sign, but he's going to announce at an all star game. Fillinger is probably Utah, Jacobs I doubt, and no vibe on Pogorelc
December 18th, 2019 at 1:43 PM ^
I think Pogorelc is not deciding and signing until later or February Signing Day. Outside of Villari, it looks like Michigan is pretty much done for the day
December 18th, 2019 at 1:37 PM ^
I still don't understand why we didn't offer Faaele a few years ago, though he was on OL.. Need some massive players on the DL. Warinner did, and Minnesota OL is legit.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:39 PM ^
we don't row no damned boats!
December 18th, 2019 at 2:16 PM ^
what a weird reference -- not sure a guy who is 6'9 400 and had only played 1 year of football would have helped our defense even after a couple years of coaching. he ain't playing nose, and i...uh... doubt he's fleet-of-foot enough to give us depth in the secondary.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:31 PM ^
it what was a random thought.
December 18th, 2019 at 4:39 PM ^
I agree with you though. A RT that could block out the sun would have made this offensive line almost elite.
December 18th, 2019 at 5:16 PM ^
Don't you miss that? I do. Not fond of these 6-5 bookends. Although Mayfield did well, Id like to see M tackles of old, like this Pogolrec 6-7... Then move guys like Cole, Runyan, Mayfield, inside.
December 18th, 2019 at 5:45 PM ^
Not being snarky here, but what is the adavantage of having an extra inch or two on the outside of the line?
December 19th, 2019 at 12:11 PM ^
Supposedly out there at the end of the line, the extra wingspan and length is helpful for keeping the quick LB or DE away from one's body, while also keeping the defender engaged. Blitzer can't get around the big reach @ 8 yards deep as easily, making pass protection better.
I think?
December 18th, 2019 at 1:42 PM ^
Dan Villari (QB) Just officially offered today.
Darion Green-Warren (CB) from CA. Looking good here. Not sure if a commitment date has been set. Remember when we got all your hyphenated names?! This would be a HUGE get for this defense, to cement that CB position along with Seldon from Belleville.
James Pogorelc (OT) from VA. Ballz say Stanford all the way. This is the first I've heard about him tbh.
Guess the OP is talking about Isaiah Jacobs (RB, Oklahoma, brother of Josh Jacobs - former Alabama RB); From what I can find, Michigan made his final 5, and he is committing today at 3:15 PM EST. Maryland has all his CBs, but is listed as "Cool."
Van Fillinger (SDE) from Utah. The Utes are looking like the leader according to the BAWLZ. Committing today at 3:30 EST.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:58 PM ^
Yeah if we land DGW next to Seldon I feel a lot better about our defense in the future. If we can beef up some of the DEs and move them inside, that's the last gap covered.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:29 PM ^
Fillinger is a DT, but probably Utah bound. Would be a really nice pickup if we could get him.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:48 PM ^
I was listing his 247 position. I agree that Michigan would attempt beef him up and move him inside if we landed him though.
December 18th, 2019 at 1:51 PM ^
My first impression of Villari is a more mobile Wilton Speight.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:15 PM ^
Also, just FYI for the star gazers...16 of 21 commits today have been 4* by at least one service, per Steve Lorenz. Not bad.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:19 PM ^
4-star is a broad category. The class is good, but it is lacking 5-star and top-100 players. Michigan only has one top-100 player, and even that one is barely in the top-100. This is the problem.
Ohio State has signed 7 top-100 players and it could be 8 tomorrow.

The rest of the Big Ten has a combined 6.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
That’s why I said not bad instead of something a bit more enthusiastic.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:30 PM ^
My comment was not intended to disagree with you as I feel the same way. It is a good class, and we should be happy about it. But when you look up and see what you are trying to overcome...
December 18th, 2019 at 2:37 PM ^
Yep, exactly. No surprise that UM has been mostly obliterated in The Game the past 15 or so years.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:37 PM ^
After all the talk about how could we possibly compete with anOSU we're still going with the star gazer stuff? We're going to go back to pretending like its not important?
December 18th, 2019 at 2:29 PM ^
I think that's right on the money. Arm might be a bit better, and he's got plus athleticism and instincts. We'll see if he can round himself into a top-tier college QB.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:33 PM ^
More mobile than Wilton Speight? My mother is more mobile than Wilton.
December 18th, 2019 at 2:50 PM ^
Yeah but we offered your mother to play DT, not QB
December 18th, 2019 at 3:06 PM ^
Based on my interactions with your mother, I would say she is more of a Tight End.
December 18th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
I like her in the slot...okay, okay, guys. Enough, it's 2020. We have to do better!
December 18th, 2019 at 5:19 PM ^
Say what you want about Speight, but he had an elite spin move to shake off the free rusher, that Shea did not have. Harbaugh taught Speight that and he perfected it more than anyone. Still bummed we moved on from him, felt like a panic move, but then again, the Iowa game ...
December 18th, 2019 at 6:20 PM ^
The problem is he got stuck in that move and kept spinning ....
December 18th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
The question is - does he come with correnthian (sp?) leather?
December 18th, 2019 at 5:01 PM ^
A more mobile Wilton Speight would’ve won the B1G East and beat oSU in 2016
December 18th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
I can't believe Michigan was never able to flip Hinton!!
Stanford is on it's way back to the years before Harbaugh
December 18th, 2019 at 5:21 PM ^
Did he sign with S? Bummer.
Yeah, but the trickle down took alot longer than I expected. Shaw carried that torch well especially in recruiting and took several of our propects like Hamilton and now Hinton.
December 18th, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
Villari is in the class, per internets:
