Resurrection Day. What past MgoContent would you like to see brought back to life?

With Brian now steadily increasing he's written contributions to the site (yay!) and Alex emerging as a more than capable replacement to Ace (yay!) it got me thinking of weekly site features that are now gone, but not forgotten.  One's that I miss and would love to see brought back to their former glory if time and inclination from the MgoWriting team exists.  My top three are as follows:

This Week In Schadenfreude: Brian

Before there was Opponent Watch, This Week In Schadenfreude existed as the site's funniest weekly feature.  Many have tried to copy, all have failed.   When it came to mocking other team's fan bases insane internet comments Brian had no equal.   This was actually a national article featured on EDSBS (Everyday should be Saturday), a mostly SEC blog that shut down in 2019 but was linked here weekly.

Blogpoll: Brian

These were so much fun.   Brian would post his weekly top 25 with a few comments on the how & why he made the choices he did then had the board crowd-source his poll.  We were able to offer our opinions and collectively we created an MgoTop25 poll weekly.

Best of the Board: Seth

Every Friday morning Seth would post the best Diaries & Board Posts for the week.  For those of us making active comments/thread creation it was always a challenge to see if your pithy comment or especially insightful observation made the cut, so to speak, and was deemed by Seth to be one of the week's best.

Cant remember the name but I think it was called Last Week in Frames or something like that? the best clips of the week captured in gif form. Admittedly, Jim give us quite a bit less meme worthy gold these days but still plenty of great content.

One of the posters made excellent UM/opponent rosters that were meant to be folded and fit in your ticket holder lanyard. They were a thing of great beauty and I miss them every game.

"This Week In Schadenfreude" would be among my candidates, if only because it was the only way I could kind of sort of get a mention at a national level. A vain reason admittedly, but it was nice to see my work get traction for a few seconds as a sidebar to a larger piece.

This Week In Schadenfreude was pretty great

Post game GIFS by Ace probably will never be topped. I understand you can't steal it from Ace, but it is MGoBlog after all. I hope it's stolen and given an rebirth.

Post game football recaps are lacking imo. I don't mean to hate. But it used to be feelings ball commentary and now it's a game recap. We all watched the game. I don't need that chronological traditional game recap. How should you/I/we feel about it?

I would absolutely LOVE for This Week in Schadenfruede to come back. There have been many imitators and none of them do it justice (especially whatever it was I read this morning from that Alabama blog - what a mess)

Now that was fucking hilarious.

In my nobody asked opinion, Blockhams was cheesy as all hell and not terribly funny (the author a great poster though if I recall). The fact that someone was smited enough by the author or comics themselves to go and create the alternate version was always fascinating to me.
